It was easy to find along Route 136, right next to Koibito Misaki. As others have said, there's nothing around, so if you're coming from the city center, the nearest convenience stores and supermarkets in Toi are the closest. Let's finish shopping and head out! (There were beer and juice vending machines, and a shared refrigerator/freezer.)Although the building is old, it was well-maintained and the room had a beautiful ocean view. There was a Pola shampoo conditioner and body soap, and there was also a razor, hairbrush, body sponge, etc., so it was comfortable and had everything at the bare minimum! The private baths were not reserved, so I had to check on them from time to time to see if they were empty, which was a bit of a hassle, but the open-air bath was especially nice.✨Other than that, the food was delicious!I used a reservation site and paid around 10,000 yen per person, so to be honest, I only had to fill my stomach with food! That's what I thought, but I was very satisfied with the full course meal☺️I would recommend it if you are looking for a cost-effective accommodation in Nishiizu.

Pension near Koibito MisakiI made a reservation on Booking.com.To be honest, my first impression is that the building looks a bit deserted and old-fashioned.There are no other buildings nearby, so I recommend purchasing drinks and snacks at a supermarket or convenience store before coming. There are two private baths: one with a view and one with an open-air bath. The outlook felt a little old, but it was a very beautiful view of the ocean. To get to the open-air bath, you have to go down some steep stairs, but I personally recommend the open-air bath as it is more beautiful.Well, here at Marine Mates, our number one recommendation is the food! The dishes such as seafood and roasted beef loin were very delicious and I was very satisfied. If I have a chance to come to Nishiizu again, I would definitely like to use it!

An elderly mother was serving customers. The food was delicious, but I think it would be better to have a larger and more conspicuous sign at the entrance of the bathroom that says vacancy while taking a bath. When I was wiping my body in the changing room after taking a bath, another customer (female) came in without noticing me.If it were the other way around, I think it could be a big problem. The location is very good and the sunset while eating was beautiful.

I have been using this dormitory for less than a month. In conclusion, I have the impression that it is recommended for those who like a retro atmosphere or those who come as a couple. As it is located in the mountains, there are no convenience stores or other shops nearby. So, we recommend buying it at a convenience store along the way!The meal was very delicious! As other people have evaluated, it was Japanese-French.We started with sashimi, followed by oven-roasted flounder and meat dishes, all of which were very satisfying! !Will a small amount be enough at first? But at the end, I was really full! !Also, personally, the lobster miso soup was delicious!Baths are not separated for men and womenIt was a style that could be used for each bath.If you are coming as a couple, we highly recommend it as you can take a mixed bath! !When using the open-air bath, we recommend using it before sunset. You can see the mountains in front of you and have a nice view, but at night you can't see anything and it's pitch black.I also thought it was best to take a bath before meals, as insects are more likely to come during the night.Regarding the service, the rooms were clean despite being run by an elderly couple.I personally like retro things, so I was very satisfied with the old-fashioned room. However, since it was only an elderly couple, I didn't think I could recommend it to anyone looking for hotel-like service and response.

I had made a reservation for one night from March 18th, but I received a phone call in the afternoon on the same day and was asked to cancel if possible due to circumstances. He was an older man, and he was very polite and said he would introduce me to someone else if that was okay, but I hung up on him because I wanted to hear about the intentions of my companion who was traveling with me. I was looking on a travel site to see if there was a place I could book from now, but the only plan I could find was that I could stay overnight but didn't have dinner, so I was thinking about asking for an introduction, when I received a phone call from a middle-aged man. . I looked for other reservations, but they only had plans that didn't include dinner, so I asked if they could introduce me to other places, but I don't think there are any. When I said I was going to introduce it here, I would start by looking for it, so I told them that my schedule was to eat dinner at the hotel, and since I was traveling, not just anywhere would be a good idea. Raising my voice a little, I explained the situation and told them that I was trying to set things up. I understand that you were in a hurry due to the special circumstances, but even though I was choosing my words carefully all the time, thinking that there were extraordinary circumstances, I was not familiar with the area and couldn't stay in the afternoon. I felt disappointed that the way he spoke showed no consideration for choosing words that reflected the feelings of the person being addressed. Later, they said that the refund would be by bank transfer, but since they didn't call me for a week, I checked the reservation site and found that it had been canceled. As a side note, we found a nice hotel in Toi on the day of the trip, and it was a great trip.Up until now, I had used pensions to some extent, but I learned a lot from privately run pensions because of the risks involved.

I was told that the room was a little small and the building was old, but that didn't bother me.It was inconvenient that I had to wait until the person in front of me left to use the private bath. The food is luxurious and delicious!Seafood, boatloads, and bread for breakfast. They are all delicious.I still want to use it.

The residents were very kind and warm, and the pension had a nice atmosphere.Above all, the Japanese-French food is wonderful. Among the dinner course dishes, the first dish of boat and crab may not be enough for those who are big eaters, but it is more than luxurious for a course meal. The fish was fresh, chewy, and delicious without any fishy smell. What impressed me most was the oven-baked flounder, which was thick and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Breakfast was Western food, and although it was a small amount, I was happy to be able to eat fruit. The potage was especially delicious. The chairs and other items in the room are quite old, but there is no musty odor, and I was impressed by how diligently they maintain the cleanliness. The bed had a slightly firm mattress, but I think it was extremely comfortable for those who like hard beds. Both my husband and I slept well. It was also very nice to have an open-air bath that can be reserved for private use in the morning and at night when it is empty. However, since it faces the mountains, it may not be suitable for people who are afraid of insects. Especially in the summer.Lover's Cape is nearby, so if your timing is right, you can see the sunset over the cape. However, there are only so many around, so if you check in too early, you might get a little bored. We recommend checking in in the evening after visiting Gotemba Outlet or other tourist spots. Overall, I only want to stay at clean, convenient business hotels and inns with thorough service! It is not suitable for those who. If you would like to stay in a privately run, old-fashioned but warm pension, please give it a try.

The building is noticeably dilapidated. The Western food was delicious. Wouldn't it be better to focus on either accommodations or restaurants?

Although the building is old, the view from the window is nice and the food was delicious. There are open-air baths and indoor baths for families to use. There are a lot of trees around the entrance.
