Unfortunately, it was raining on the day we stayed, but the landlady was very kind and took advantage of the rainy weather to change us to a room where we wouldn't get wet in the open-air bath that was available! However, due to the timing, if you don't turn off the lights in the open-air bath at night, insects will gather around the bath, so be careful (^_^;)A sunny morning from the best locationI enjoyed the bath and made some great memories✨It was so nice and relaxing! This time I had a plan to stay without meals, but it was a nice inn that I would like to have a meal with next time!Thank you for your help!

Above all, the dinner and breakfast were luxurious and delicious.I stayed in a room on the first floor, and it was well kept and clean. There were a few spiders, but I guess it can't be helped due to the location. There is vape in the room. The view from the window was so-so (mountains and ocean), but the stars were beautiful at night!

I stayed in a Japanese-style room called Rokurensei on the third floor. The room has an open-air bath.●BathI was worried because I had read a lot of reviews about insects, but I guess it's okay on the 3rd floor? So I decided to take a chance and give it a try. When I checked in at 3pm, it was clean and there were no insects, so I went in while it was daylight!*I was bitten by an ant on the top of my foot. If you look closely, there were quite a few ants, so be careful. At night, there are moths and pine beetles on the door leading to the bath? I was too scared to open it because it was covered with various insects, so I gave up going in at night. . . I think they are attracted to the light in the room.Since I didn't open the door, I don't know how many bugs were in the bathroom, but considering how many were at the door, I think there were quite a few.●CookingI was happy to be able to choose a different dish from the 5 types of dinner (1 meat, 4 fish). My companion chose sashimi, which he said was fresh and very delicious.Personally, I found the chawanmushi to be exquisite. The staff were very nice and I think it was a good hotel overall!Due to the location, if you don't like insects, we recommend you avoid the summer and book a room on the 3rd floor (Rokurensei or Orihime).

The room had an open-air bath, but the view on the first floor was not good. The bathtub was also full of fallen leaves from the trees around it, so I had to clean it before filling it with hot water. There were a lot of large trees growing in the scenery, so I could only see a little bit, and I couldn't even see the stars, and there were a lot of insects flying around. If you have to stay overnight, it is better to get a room on the top floor.

I visited here on my first trip with a loved one.A sudden visit with only one slot left.First of all, the location is easy to access. If you drive on a large road, you'll find inns along the road.I headed from Atami. There are Max Valu and 7-Eleven within a 10-minute drive, so we recommend purchasing simple snacks and drinks there.(Rurika-san did not have a shop or vending machine.)Check-in was also polite and smooth. We had a room on the first floor facing the sea.The room was based on Japanese style, but had an Asian feel.I was happy that the futons were already prepared neatly. The open-air bath in the guest room was also very clean and nice, and I was able to easily turn on the hot water myself and adjust the temperature, which was great.I guess this is the first time I've taken such a long bath. I felt so calm.Another thing to look forward to...dinner.There are two options for dinner: 18:30 or 19:00.There is a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. From appetizers to sashimi, boiled golden sea bream...It was really delicious. It was a perfect dinner except for the big blunder of forgetting to take a photo. (lol)Also, there is one thing that personally made me feel comfortable and enjoy the meal.A male staff member was in charge of 5.6 tables by himself. It's probably very difficult, and there are bound to be some irregularities and difficulties, such as serving drinks or being suddenly asked for rice at an early stage, but they served customers very politely, and they were very kind. I was very impressed.Even in high-end inns, I see some places where the food is served early, perhaps because they want the meal to be finished quickly, but at Rurika-san, this was not the case even for dinner or breakfast.Dinner and breakfast togetherI enjoyed the meal very comfortably. When I left, a male staff member spoke to me warmly. Also, I forgot my pants, but thanks to the staff who inspected my room immediately after checking out, I was able to get them back safely! (lol)Rurika's staffIt was great.I will never forget the open-air bath in the guest room, the food, and the hospitality.I will return to Hokkaido feeling comfortable and happy.thank you very much.

Use a free and carefree solo travel plan. The baths don't have to be boiled, they just have to be filled with hot water, so I had trouble figuring out the temperature, so when I asked the front desk, they said, ``There are red and blue water, so red is hot.'' It was night and I couldn't see well... I wish they had written down how to use it. Although it was served in the room, there was quite a large number of items. One person is more than enough. The sashimi, golden sea bream, and other dishes were delicious. We also received draft beer as part of the one-drink service.Due to the floor plan, there was a bath in front of the bedroom, and the bath mat was right next to the futon...it felt a little strange. I don't think it's safe to go out near where you sleep while still wet. It's very cold in winter, so be careful.
