The host Jun was very kind and accommodating. We had our JR passes mailed to him since we ran out of time to have it mailed to us before leaving. There was a slight mistake on the address (tip: if copying and pasting addresses, replace any special characters with their standard form) so the package didn't reach as intended, but after speaking with FedEx, Jun went out of his way to pick it up for us! I've never had an AirBnB host go that far out of their way for a guest.
Additionally, he provided us with daily snacks (green tea eclairs, yogurt, almond jello, etc), umbrellas for when it rained, and extra towels.
The location was super close to the Minowa Station, and we were able to get to all the main Tokyo attractions within 30 minutes without much walking.
Highly recommended stay for the kind host and convenient location!

I couldn't make it to the hostel due to not getting my husband visa cleared. When tried to cancel 2 months before, host ignored and never reply. It was during the busiest time of the year. He could have gotten many new people to replace but when he ignore to ours and the airbnb staff replies, makes me to think that this host is worst inconsiderate person I had ever had. And I paid in full for 8 nights. Don't book, please.
