Stunning hotel in such a historical area.It gets quite busy at the shrine but you would never know from the hotel - it was bliss.Rooms were immaculate and spacious.Staff friendly. Allowed us to check in 30 mins earlier than planned which we were extremely grateful for due to jet lag :)Fantastic location close to metro lines and tons of places to eat and drink in the area.

Writing this even as we are still here. The place is wonderful in and of itself but the staff went so far as to straighten out a big problem with another reservation later in our trip. I’d rate the service a 12 if I could.

The location is very good, right at Kaminarimon Gate, not far from the metro stations of the Ginza and Asakura lines (this metro goes directly to Haneda Airport). Starbucks and many restaurants in the immediate area. We had a traditional Japanese room with futons as the rooms with western beds were already fully booked. Next time we would book a room with western beds. The ryokan is very tastefully and minimalistically furnished. The bathroom was nice and the toilet (which is unusual in Japan) was in the bathroom. We can absolutely recommend this ryokan!

This hotel fulfilled my wish to live in a tatami room. The room is clean and bright. It is just to the left of the main entrance of Sensoji Temple and upstairs from Starbucks. The location is outstanding.

This was my second stay at Kaminarimon Ryokan. When I opened the window of the safe Kaminarimon Ryokan room a little, I could hear the voices of tourists enjoying Nakamise and the sounds of the shops buzzing on the wind, giving me a taste of Edo.In addition, the ``Illumination Sky Tree'' could be seen in front of the window, and it looked like a painting, giving me a sense of Asakusa's fusion of ``Edo and the future.''And once you close the window of the room, it becomes a quiet environment where you can't even hear the noise, and the soundproofed guest room itself,I felt "hospitality" and was able to have a comfortable stay.If you stay at this inn located right next to Kaminarimon Daichochin,You can always feel at ease and have a memorable time,I also want to go to Asakusa.

Traveling with my family, I didn't confirm whether there were three people traveling together when I made the reservation. …

Our room was on the 7th floor.I was told that the number of rooms varies depending on the floor, so the size and atmosphere of the rooms may vary. But I think it's Japanese style overall. The front desk was also Japanese style.Even though it's Asakusa, I was surprised to see all the nostalgic things from Kyoto, like Nadaman and Ajari Mochi! !The front desk is on the third floor. The customer service is polite and the access from the station is good.Even though the food is catered by Nadaman, it is delicious.I have a Nestle coffee maker (just set the cup), but the cup is too big to use with just one, so I have to use two to make just one cup.The hojicha and green tea were from Koyamaen. This is a tea pack. It's perfect, but the only disappointing thing is the amenities...Make-up remover is shared with hand soap, no lotion or emulsion. Why are you so particular about it? That's what it felt like. However, overall I think it's a very good accommodation! !

Kaminarimon Ryokan was a lovely place to stay. The staff were welcoming, the location was wonderful, and our room had the most incredible view of Kaminarimon, and the path leading to Senso-ji. The room was stunning, with a lovely entrance hall to leave our luggage, and to allow us to keep the main room uncluttered to retain that minimalist ryokan feeling. We would highly recommend staying here, if you prefer a ryokan over a traditional hotel.
