The rooms are well appointed, but there isn’t enough space to store your clothes, so you’ll be living out of a suitcase. There’s no lift, which means you have to lug your suitcase up and down a narrow staircase. The rooms have a Dyson hairdryer, but no tea or coffee making facilities. There’s no phone to contact reception. The included breakfast — some rice, miso soup, and a few vegetables (no other choice) — is disappointing. The worst thing was that one day, I put the “CLEAN UP ROOM” sign up before 12.30 pm and they didn’t clean the room — they didn’t even leave a note under the door or anything. Requiring a $500 deposit is unusual. The location is also quite out of the way. Taking the price into account, I would give 4 stars for the room, minus one for the breakfast, and minus one for the lack of cleaning, for a total of 2 stars.

The room wasn't particularly big but not particularly small either. Unfortunately there was an emergency exit sign above the door. It was very bright and shined directly onto the bed. Sleeping was therefore difficult. The bathtub takes a little longer than an hour to fill. The door had an open slot and so noises from the neighbors in the stairwell came into the room. Light sleepers have problems.On the first day I hung the cleaning sign on the door. Unfortunately it still wasn't cleaned.It was also a bit strange that a deposit was required. I haven't had to pay a deposit at other hotels across Japan.The breakfast was very small and the rice was dry. Unfortunately it didn't taste that good. Unfortunately there was no miso soup or fish.The location is good. The area is quiet and there is a good cafe just down the street. The landlord is very friendly and speaks perfect English and Japanese. The highlight was the projector.

A lovely hotel. Rooms are single stacked. Antonio (Italian) and Li (Chinese) both speak excellent English and are very happy to help. Great location to multiple train stations to easily get you around this amazing city! Breakfast may not be for everyone as asian (rice with vegetables), though there's a 24 hour store at the end of the road, and an awesome sandwich shop around the corner. Very clean, serviced daily. No lift. You must be able to manage stairs. No iron or clothes press. After visiting Shibuya and Shinjuku, you'll be glad to be in a quiet neighbourhood.

I am amazed, my room was so beautiful and it had everything you might ever need! By the way there is dyson hairdryer, I was so shook when I found it! 🥹 but the bathroom is really something else, you definitely should stay at this hotel to take a bath at their bathroom, it’s a special experience, I loved it so much. The stuff is super friendly and I had zero communication problems, they are so helpful and gave us so many tips on where to go and what to do. Also the location is super convenient, you are in super comfy location and is so easy to get anywhere from there. Oh, also there is a bar at the hotel as well, and there you can try various sake types and they tell you all about them, that was a really cool experience! Next time I am travelling to Tokyo, I won’t think twice where to stay 😍

We spent two night in this beautiful hotel and i’m really satisfied. The room are huge and very clean. The bathtub was amazing and the staff also was very friendly.Special thanks to mr. Antonio for his kindness and useful tips for restaurants and cool places.
