I would like the room to be upgraded. The floor is sagging and the texture of the bed mattress shows signs of use. It was also difficult to get rid of large insects many times. (Maybe it can't be helped because there are chairs on the balcony so you can enjoy the outside air...) But, but! meal. Dinner was amazing! delicious! Impression and joy. From appetizers that go well with alcohol to main dishes such as fish and meat. Until dessert. It was bright to the eye, and I had no complaints from the appearance to the taste. I would like you to visit once to enjoy dinner.

Although it takes less than 30 minutes by car from Kusatsu, it is located in an unexplored region. The best part was the food. Both dinner and breakfast use a lot of local ingredients and are all delicious. This is the first time I've had sweetfish with such delicious guts. There are some delicious vegetables and wild plants that I have never eaten before. There is also a wide variety of items. For dinner, we were taken by car to another building, but it was a great feeling to sit around the hearth in a hall with high ceilings and thick pillars. The building of the inn is quite old, but it is well maintained and there are no problems at all. Since it's made of wood, you can hear some noise, but it's within common sense. Although the bath is not large, we were able to enjoy the hot springs in a relaxed manner since we were not sharing the bath with other guests. Guests are treated with great hospitality from the people staying at the inn. I also received a polite send-off. I imagined that the number of rooms would be reduced after the coronavirus outbreak, but I thought it would be an inn that I would like to continue operating for a long time. (For reference: You can't walk to the free Kawayu at Shiriyaki Onsen, but it's still a reasonable distance. There's free parking, so it's best to go by car.)

Although the onjuku is located deep in the mountains, the retro atmosphere of the building (wooden construction, no elevator), the staff's service, the food, the private open-air bath, it was truly amazing! Two years ago, we promised to go again! The other day, I upgraded my room and made a reservation. The seasonal hearth dishes are wonderful, and last time we had an early winter mountain dish using mushrooms and nuts, but next time we'll have an early summer mountain dish! I'm really looking forward to it! !This is an onjuku that I would like to visit again and again at different times (^^)

In particular, they put a sticker with the room number on my slippers, which made me feel very safe.Cold barley tea is also delicious.yogurt after dinnerI also appreciated the service of making onigiri (rice balls) for a late-night snack when the kamameshi was all finished.4 groups per daySelected as one of the top 100 small inns in JapanIt's an adult inn.Thank you for your help again.

It was always highly rated on every website and was a dream hotel that I wanted to stay at at least once. This time I decided to stay overnight. The results were disappointing, except for the food.Arrived at the inn. I entered the entrance, put my luggage down, and there were chairs, sofas, etc., so I expected someone to say, ``Please take a seat. He asked me to fill it out, and I said, ``Here's the explanation about the bath.'' I explained again, standing up. What does it mean? For guests coming on a long journey. This was the first time I had received such a response. We had tea in our room, but I thought it was in the wrong order. The room was nice, so we pulled ourselves together and had the long-awaited meal. We will take you to eat in your car. The food was outstanding. It was the best accommodation I've ever been to.However, Mr. Nakai didn't explain the cooking and simply said, "Please start." The food was served without any explanation, and while I was looking at the menu, I finished the plate! It was put as. I was surprised. It was my first time at an inn that did something like that. When asked about the clams in a dish, ``Where did they come from?'' Do you ever get the answer, ``I think the chef got them from Togoka?'' I was surprised again. I was looking at the wonderful 8-inch dish as I ate it, and I said, ``I'll take it down.'' I just put the small bowl next to it and took it with me. I don't know what the purpose of the arrangement was, but I felt that they didn't put much love into their work.I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the drainage was so bad that I had to fight completely naked. It will be dry in the morningThe staff may not have noticed, but I wish they would have noticed since this is the only room with an open-air bath.I wanted to tell you about the drainage on the way home, but the landlord wasn't there. My impressions of the inn I had admired for many years turned out to be disappointing.
