This is the most charming little farmhouse! The elderly couple owners were the most kind and hospitable, together with Mame-chan their adorable cat, gave us the most memorable stay.The breakfast is a must have, with truly fresh and delicious produce to get you ready for a snowy day.We were staying at the annex next door, which was a beautiful and super cosy house that gave us all the equipment for our nights in with hot sake on cold winter nights.We didn’t want to leave!

This is a wonderful inn where you can feel warm consideration everywhere.We were greeted with herbal tea and dessert, a colorful and delicious breakfast, and cute Mame-chan.The interior is also really nice.I look forward to working with you again.thank you very much.

ancient living spaceThis trip started from Tokamachi, and as the weather forecast predicted, it started raining in the afternoon.The temperature also seems to have dropped a little.After visiting various art spots early on, we warmed up our tired bodies in a nearby hot spring before arriving at the hotel.As I was being guided by Sanzaemon's husband, a sense of security welled up from the bottom of my feet as they touched the floor.I took a break with some Bach cello music and some herbal tea, and reflected on all the art spots I visited today. Each of them was stimulating in their own way, and the freedom of contemporary art made me feel like my everyday cloudy eyes were cleared.We were led further into the room, but everywhere we looked there was a fresh, nostalgic feeling, and an atmosphere that had remained the same for 100 years enveloped us.This is an ancient living space. It's like a tool that fits perfectly in your hand, and the dark corners have been removed, making it seem like it's integrated with the person who uses it.This inn is not "farmhouse style" but a real farmhouse. There is a strong sense of reality that has survived winters of 3 meters of snow for 100 years. Outside is not a ``pastoral'' garden, but a real field that has just been harvested.If you carefully and fully enjoy your life, your life will become an art that transcends mere act. Rather, it has to become art. The repetition of the commonplace opens the door to the perception of surprise and wonder.This may be an exaggerated impression from someone traveling for one night, but that's how I felt.

Definitely one of my peak experiences as a solo female traveller. They were not only the kindest humans, but made such good wholesome organic meals as well. Location was great to experience in the morning and to check various other installations out but it was quite hard to get to.

I arrived by bus, but got lost, so I contacted them and they met me. At this point, I felt glad that I had chosen this guesthouse.Although the room was renovated from an old private house, it was clean and inconvenient, and everything from the furniture to the tableware had a very elegant feel.The room had a high ceiling and didn't feel oppressive, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.By the way! Breakfast was delicious. The quantity was also sufficient.It was a strange experience where I made encounters and memories that will be important to me in the future.
