I was surprised by the very stylish interior, and was greeted by a lovely scent from the entrance. I really felt the host's delicate care. The room is spacious and clean. You can also see the port of Hakodate from the window, which is very nice. The bath has a shower, but Yachigashira Onsen is a two-minute walk away, and there's a convenience store another five minutes from there. There's no TV in the room, but it gives you a sense of quiet travel. Enjoying a quiet drink while looking at the night view is the ultimate luxury. There are two toilets and two washbasins, and toiletries, midnight snacks, and snacks are sold. Bicycle parking spaces are limited, so please check when making a reservation. This needs to be confirmed due to the issue of space to store bikes. The only drawback is that it's on a bit of a hill. It's pretty tiring to come back after drinking beer after taking a bath in the hot springs (lol), but it has become my favorite inn. I will use it again.

It's a reasonably priced stay, the rooms are clean, there's a parking lot, there's a hot spring nearby, and the tram station is nearby, but the washing machine can't be used, which is inconvenient if you're staying for multiple nights.

I use it all the time.It is inexpensive and has all the necessary facilities for a guest house. In the winter, there was only one futon, so it was cold at night. I would appreciate it if you could add one more blanket. The owner is very kind and it's a very good accommodation, so I will stay here again.

The price is low for a spacious private room. Personally, I was very satisfied. On the day I stayed, it was quiet and I had a good night's rest, but some people may be concerned about the noise. It's like an old building, so it's noisy. I thought it would be a good idea to bring earplugs. There is a hot spring facility nearby. It's open from 6am, so people who like to take a bath in the morning might be happy.

I used it on a touring trip. It appears to be a completely private room. The common space has a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, pot, etc. The rooms are also equipped with air conditioning, fans, and heaters. The shared toilet has a Western-style washlet. There is a public hot spring bath about 3 minutes walk away. Private room guesthouses are quite cheap considering the location of Hakodate. Recommended if you want to have some private time and travel cheaply!

Highly rated overall, recommended for solo travelers looking for a cheap place to stay. The walls in the guest room are thin and you can hear some noise from the next room, but the room is spacious and relaxing.Perhaps because each site has a warning that says "This is what a guest house is like", I could sense that other guests were trying to keep the noise as low as possible. The facility staff (owner?) answered my questions and requests politely, and I was left with a good impression. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station, up a steep slope, so you'll need some stamina.

My family used it around 2000. So it's different from the current owner. At that time, the name of the guesthouse was Hakodate Club. Therefore, I cannot comment on the current guest house, so I will only comment on the location. Tucked away in a quiet corner of a residential area, Yachigashira Onsen is just a stone's throw away. This alone is worth the stay. It's close to the streetcar, there's a Lawson in front of the station (there wasn't one in 2000), and several restaurants. Best of all, it's close to Hakodate city, so you can go for a stroll around the city.
