I stayed here during the pre-opening.I thought the noise would be a problem because it's an old building, but it was more comfortable than I expected. You can see the Kiyotsu River from the co-working space on the 2nd floor, where you can spend a relaxing and comfortable time. The guest rooms have the bare minimum of equipment and lack a TV, giving a somewhat modest impression, but since there are no unnecessary things, you can enjoy the rich nature to the fullest. The view from the window, the sunlight, and the location are great. Although we don't have the services that you would find at a traditional Japanese inn, we recommend it for people who want to relax and have some freedom. Since there are no such facilities nearby, I thought it would be a reasonable and convenient accommodation.

I stayed with a group for 2 nights and 3 days.There was also a service that included a delicious breakfast for 500 yen, which was very nice.

It was used by a group during the summer.Coupled with the location being in a valley, we were able to spend a relaxing time surrounded by greenery with a stream flowing nearby.The room was well-maintained and spacious enough, so even when staying in a group, we were able to relax and have some peace of mind, so we were very satisfied.The best part is the restaurant on the first floor, which I've used several times and found it to be a very nice place to stay with delicious food that satisfies both body and soul. I would like to use it again when I visit the area.

飯ヶ谷禅

It was used by a student group.The inn is located above a snowy restaurant and is located very close to the Kiyotsukyo Tunnel, so it's very convenient when you're heading to Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale.Regarding the facility, it was very clean and the entrance and common areas had a Japanese-style setting with gravel and plants that gave it a very nice atmosphere.The guest rooms have also been newly renovated and are simple and clean rooms with tatami mats. From the window, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the river and hear the soothing sounds of the river.In terms of facilities, all rooms were equipped with air conditioning, one shower room for men and one woman, two washrooms, and a washing machine. Detergents and toothbrushes were sold for a fee.Breakfast is included for a small additional charge, and you can enjoy rice balls made with delicious rice from Niigata.The owner was very accommodating and allowed me to use it freely. We hope to use it for student group projects next year as well.
