If you come by car or motorcycle, the parking lot may be a little small and the rooms may not have air conditioning, but this accommodation is in a great location for sightseeing. There are also famous restaurants around and a supermarket right in front of you. There are multiple shower rooms, baths, and laundry facilities inside. The only difficulty is that there are stairs to get to the upper floor, but they are quite steep, so be careful if you have bad feet. Although I didn't use it myself, there seems to be service coffee and an observation room. Thank you for your help.

7. A review from 8 years ago states that there is a breakfast service, but this is probably from the previous youth hostel era. Not now. (Self-service coffee available)It's close to the tram station, and overall it's clean, so I think it's a good hotel if you don't have too high expectations.

You can reach this place by tram or by walk from train station. This is like typical hostel not guesthouse, it offers dormitory. There is no option to get meals here but big plus is that you get free ice cream - homemade. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

A nice surprise to get a quiet single room in a hostel. Facilities a bit basic and not much character to the place. A good 'common room' . Quite easy to get to from the train station (by tram) - and Hakodate is a fascinating city - where westerners first came to Japan.
