Use auto campsite No.3You can also erect quite large tents in an unusually large area.However, the sound of water is loud, so if you are concerned about it, it is better to stay in the front section.When I went there, there was a large amount of felled trees in the back of the plot, which I was able to use for bonfires, which was a good deal.The kitchen and toilets are clean, and it's a good campsite worth the price (4,200 yen for auto camping, 2,100 yen for free sites).

It's very well managed.The upper part is where you can drive your car and there is a river, so it's nice to take a dip in the water in the summer.The problem is...a swarm of small insects.It's a little-known spot, but if you're not good with insects, you may need to take precautions.

A campsite in the shallows of the Katakai River. A great location with nothing but rivers and mountains.The river is a wild place to play by the water, and it's a primitive place with no lights at night. You can enjoy the happiness of just spending time.There is a barbecue table and an area for auto camping.There is a cenotaph for attorney Sakamoto's family.

Campground along Prefectural Route 132 Katakai RiverWhen there is a lot of water, the sound of flowing water can be noisy!A well-maintained campsite with a new reception toilet.The right side is an auto campsite where vehicles can enter.The left side is a BBQ area➕Free site.The free site is flat and spacious, but vehicles are not allowed. Depending on where you park your vehicle, there are tents nearby. I can say that 😉I think the environment is nice in nature, but I wonder if the price is high for this level of facility!

I don't go camping, but I went there because the scenery was beautiful.It is a good place to enjoy the contrast between the clear flow of the river and the mountains.Monkeys and bears sometimes appear.However, since it is a campsite, there are no restaurants or trash cans, so be careful if you are driving!

The campground is located upstream of the Katakai River. I think the usage fee is a bit high, but the environment is very good. During the day, you can relax all day while looking at the clear stream, and at night, you can look at the starry sky and have a drink or coffee. I think it would be a good idea to make a bonfire.

I visited in early October. It was a peaceful campsite with few insects.All trash must be taken home with you, so we recommend bringing lots of trash bags.In addition, we could see a large waterfall at the divided site, and the scenery was wonderful.Note: Firewood is 1000 yen (as of October 2022) When making a bonfire, please bring a bucket and fire scissors to extinguish the charcoal.

Nearby is the Sakamoto Lawyer Family Memorial.When I pass in front of them, I always hold their hands together.The campsite is rich in nature, and the sabo dam is a majestic and wonderful sight.

The pegs do not stick easily. There are no showers or baths. The sound of the dam is strong. There are also reports that there are a lot of horseflies. But is the atmosphere nice? Overall, I think it's beautiful and a good place.

Dorayaki reports.This is a very clean and natural campsite in Toyama. I used it on Saturdays and Sundays in summer, and the Katakai River was flowing next door, so I could always hear the sound of the river. However, probably because it was after the rain, the current was quite explosive. If you are thinking of playing in the river, be careful about the weather and children.Please be aware that it can get quite cold at night, even in summer.Insect repellent will also be a must. Horseflies gather in car exhaust fumes.The manager's lady disappears in the middle of the night, but the telephone and vending machine remain. There is also an ancient hot spring called Kintaro Onsen about 20 minutes away by car. That's a good thing.

Auto site with power supply is cheap! The river is right nearby!It seems that the parking lot space at the auto site is fixed, so I wonder if it would be inconvenient for campers etc. Although it was site 1, there was a parking space just a step down (about 2 low stairs). The site is large. There are almost no trees, but there are some places where large rocks stick out, but they don't really get in the way. The power supply is at the end, so a drum cord is required (I was able to borrow a short cord from the manager).It seems like there are a lot of day trips. If it's a weekday, you can make a reservation even the day before. It's all empty!Free sites are quite large. However, the area near the administration building is muddy, so I wonder if the back side is okay. Cars are not allowed.The administration building and kitchen are next to each other, but they are located between the auto site and the free site, so they are a little far away.During the day in summer, there are a lot of flies and gnats, and at night there are a lot of winged ants!If you turn on the light in the kitchen, they will attack you.Is there a waterfall behind the auto site? There is a steep slope (like the one in the site photo), but there is no place to get off! There is a slightly higher rock embankment with a steep slope. A path has been built that makes you think they must have walked there. I was too scared to get off. There is a gentle slope in the middle of the entire site. I didn't have the courage to go all the way to the top.As I said, I will definitely go again!
