The building and rooms feel old. Baths, toilets, and sinks are shared.

It might be a good place to stay considering the price, the breakfast was delicious, but the room was smelly.

There's no elevator, so it's a little difficult to carry suitcases and other luggage up the stairs. Bath towels, face towels, and toothbrushes are available at the front desk. Others need to be prepared by yourself.There was a lot of dust in the room, the shoji screen was torn, I was bitten by invisible insects that were probably ticks in three places, and I was so itchy and restless that I couldn't sleep.The restroom is also very small, so if you're a big person, it might be difficult.However, there is a microwave and a large communal refrigerator on each floor, so we were able to freeze a lot of plastic bottles, which is difficult to do at a hotel, so it is recommended for those who bring their own cooler.The bath was spacious and hot, and the jet bath felt great. The water pressure in the shower was strong and perfect. It can't be helped that the dressing room is dirty and old.Gondo shopping street is within walking distance, but there are no busy shops.Zenkoji Nakamise is also within walking distance, but it closes early (15:00 or 16:00), so if you're checking in in the evening, it's more convenient to stay in front of the station. I am grateful that the parking lot is free because I can enter and exit the parking lot.

คนไทยครับRooms: Rooms is moderate size not big not small. Futon is comfy, Blanket is warm and comfy. Only two power outlet in the room. The room is clean. Overall satisfactory for the cheap price of stay.Service: the owner is very kind person and friendly, he offered to drive us to Nagano station for free. I am deeply thankful of him. He is not good at english, but he tried to communicate with us the best he can. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious(cost 900 yen). There is coin washing machine and dryer in the 1st floor, and at the roof top you can hang clothes to dry.Location: about 10 min walk to nagano station, many izakayas near the place, hard to find opening resturants in the morning(family mart about 5 min walk from the inn)Bath: The bath is shared. In the men bath there are two rooms. First room has coin washing machine and place to store clothes. You strip in this room before go in to the second room bare naked. Second room is bathroom, there are three shower stands to use before getting in bath, with soap and shampoo provied. Then there's the bath, about 3-4 meters in length, fit about 4 people. Expect to share bath with strangers, bare naked.

It’s a 7 min walk from the station,The host was nice and the place is good, bathrooms are shared and the stalls are not closed to the floorarea is cosy but very touristy, very few shops nearby, all shops and restaurants are near the station
