I like this inn because it has hot springs that smell like sulfur and has delicious French cuisine that makes you feel the seasons of Shinshu.I feel that the spirit of the friendly inn that served as an evacuation center for disabled children from a special needs school during the war has been carried on.

I stayed on the Welcome Baby plan.I was waiting with my daughter while my husband was doing the bookkeeping, and the staff member immediately brought us a toy! My daughter is very interested in this toy that stretches and lights up!We were provided with various baby goods, and we were very grateful for the service such as 2 liters of water, barley tea, a duck toy, and baby wipes. There were several types of shampoo for kids in the bath too!However...When I first entered the entrance, my impression was that it had a nice atmosphere and had been renovated in places, so it might be clean! That's what I thought...but I was disappointed that the water areas such as the washroom and shower were very old-fashioned.Is the hair dryer installed these days? It's not the outlet type, so my husband is putting our daughter to bed in the room right next to the bathroom, so I wanted to move it and use it, but I couldn't, and the airflow was weak and I had to press the button. It's the type that doesn't work unless you leave it alone, which is very inconvenient.I also feel like there are very few amenities.Only towels and toothbrushes. They say you can get one if you ask at the front desk, but it would be nice if they had a set of brushes, cotton, and cotton swabs.Honestly, all of the dishes were a little weird. It was an elaborate dish, but the combination was strange and not good, and the grilled fish was not freshly grilled but had been cooking for a while...

Shinshu Beef Steak ◆Shinshu Yamasato Gozen] Luxurious Kaiseki with Shinshu Beef and Seasonal Colors [Hot Spring Directly Sourced]Guest room with open-air bath [Japanese-style room 8 tatami] Limited to 1 roomSeptember 19th: Approximately 26,000 yen per person for 2 people (discount available)[Location 2]Staying in a room with a balcony and a view... There is a ruin next door lol A mountain towers on the other side, but there are ruins at the foot of the mountain lol[Room 5]My husband and I would like to stay in a quiet room with an open-air bath at least once! This hotel was what I was looking for.8 tatami? Really? It feels so spaciousIt feels a little old, but it's well kept and clean. Since it was the day after a full moon, we enjoyed drinking sake while enjoying the moon on the balcony.[Meal 3]Dinner was really great! Every single item is so delicious that you can't stop eating your chopsticks! The depth of flavor of the rockfish sashimi... I'm drooling even now when I think about it...Takuan is good in average. No need for curry flavor. So, breakfast. My wife chose Western food and I chose Japanese food, but what is this? Something like, ``I took the ingredients I bought at the local supermarket and transferred them to a plate.'' Salmon with ordinary pickles. Should I eat white rice instead of porridge? ``Miso soup with canned mackerel.'' Canned food costs 26,000 yen per person lol. Even if it's a lie, tell me it's mackerel miso soup. I guess the theme is a home-cooked meal in the morning...? Even though I'm on a trip looking forward to an extraordinary experience, there are always things I can eat at any time. Miso soup is served in a bowl, and instead of salmon, dried fish is grilled in a solid fuel pot. Enjoy something for breakfast that you can't usually do at home.Western food includes two hamburgers and pot-au-feu in a solid fuel pot. Um...I think the people who choose Western food want something like ``the usual bread rolls and croissants, ham and egg, and corn soup,'' but...it's too heavy in the morning.[Bath 5]I enjoyed melting in the smooth quality of the water with the scent of sulfur. The quality and scent of the water are great, and it stays warm long after you take a bath. For some reason, there were two private open-air baths, one of which was extremely hot and the other lukewarm, which was a mystery, but since it was a private bath for a family, the lukewarm temperature was probably just right as it was child-friendly.I enjoyed the open-air bath in my room many times with just the right amount of hot water.[Service 2]There was no one to greet me when I arrived. A simple explanation was given and the keys were handed over. In a certain YouTuber's video, a staff member came to pick us up from in front of the building. He seems to know where to flatter. When I stopped by the store in the evening, two of the front staff members seemed to be having fun chatting with each other. If you're going to leave the doorbell behind, why don't you just send one person to the store?I get it because it's common for people to come and pull the futon for me while I'm eating, but why do they leave the used teacup on the shoe rack? I'd understand if you could at least leave me a new teacup to replace it...The next morning, I washed it myself and reused it to drink tea.[Facilities/Amenities 2]There are only 2 bottles of water and a pack of green tea in the room. I want some instant coffee.Wouldn't it be nice to have a basket for when you go to the bathroom? The pouch containing toiletries and towels is not waterproof, so it gets drenched after bathing.I couldn't find any alcohol vending machines. It was on the first floor, but only coke and ice cream was available. In the video of the YouTuber mentioned earlier, it is shown in front of the restaurant on the second floor. Where did it go? I was too lazy to look for it and didn't feel like asking the chatting staff, so I bought some sake from the shop. You can enjoy a cold beer after taking a bath! I wanted to go there. So, I thought I'd put the sake I bought in the fridge to cool while I was taking a bath, but it wasn't turned on... There was an explanation on the door, but since this was my first time doing something like this, I threw it in to cool it without question. w[Overall Rating 3] There are a lot of great things, but I feel like I can't reach the areas I'm concerned about...To be honest, the cost performance is bad. If a plan with dinner and no breakfast is available, I would like to use it again.
