While sightseeing in Matsumoto, I stayed at a renovated warehouse. It was a very nice room and I was able to spend a relaxing time there. There is also a sauna, so you can spend a comfortable time even in cold Matsumoto.I was also very grateful for the thoughtfulness of the accommodation. I would like to stay again. thank you very much.

The exterior of the building is luxurious, but the interior resembles that of a private house, so it may feel a little strange as a hot spring inn. Hot springs and cooking are a classic match. There was a variety of alcohol available, especially Japanese sake, which had a wide variety of famous brands from Shinshu. For those who know the difference between hot water, rice, and sake☺

The food is just delicious. It was the best eating experience I've ever had in my life. Enjoy a feast made with plenty of seasonal local ingredients and homemade items! The eggplant in particular is unbelievably thick and creamy. I thought the skin would be crispy because it couldn't be cut with a spoon, but I was impressed by how melty it was. The taste is beyond your imagination, so much so that you want to eat it all the way to the bottom. It's so special that I think it's a completely different food than the eggplants I've known before. When I wrote out the menu from memory,Today's appetizers were a refreshing mix of vitamin daikon radish, hiratake mushrooms, and salmon roe (very delicious), herring roe with wasabi (perfect for drinking), plump black beans with gold powder, and smoked cheese (slightly sweet, creamy, and delicious) My husband and I love the taste so much that we want to take it home as a souvenir. It goes well with alcohol (local wine?).The bowl is probably shrimp shrimp (my lack of knowledge and memory). Breathe in the aroma of matsutake mushrooms and yuzu. As the gentle warmth gently wrapped around my esophagus and slowly passed through it, I felt a soothing sensation similar to taking a hot spring bath! The eggplant is the winner. The simmered food that was served afterwards had a heart-warming taste. I don't know what kind of stock it is, but it's delicious...The fried food is fried vegetables and matsutake mushrooms. The scent of matsutake mushrooms can't beat the scent of sauce or sudachi! I was really surprised that everything resonated in my mouth! It was delicious. The crispy and melty Japanese yam was also good... Apparently purple Chinese cabbage is rare! The meat is served with a sweet mustard sauce. I was truly happy with my teeth as I bit into the meat, and with my tongue as I tasted the oil and flavor of the beef. The broccoli is also steamy. The matsutake rice and matsutake mushrooms steamed in a clay pot were also blissful.I steamed the rice in a clay pot and it was great, and I enjoyed the toppings as well. The combination of the sweet sweet potato and the sourness of the apple was delicious! The leftover matsutake mushroom rice was made into rice balls and we had it as a late night snack. The breakfast the next morning was really good...the stews were made with the most delicious soup stock from Onjuku Ishikawa, and the fluffy tamagoyaki with fuki miso was also delicious. The hot spring water was gradually warming. I was happy to have the apple hot water and enjoy the aroma!

This is a hot spring inn that appears many times in the blog “Jiro Warabiya's Hot Spring Blog” and the blog “Zutto Soba” written by Satomikazu. …

Stayed on October 10, 2015.This is a small inn that is difficult to book and only accommodates two groups per day, so you can spend a very quiet and luxurious time here. All of the proprietress's dishes were delicious, and the candied rockfish was exquisite. There are two baths with natural hot spring water, the mosaic-tiled "Showa-no-yu" before dinner, and the "Ten-no-yu" before bed. I was soaked and healed♪
