I stayed for 2 nights in early November, and although the facility is old, I had no problems and was satisfied with the food. It was a pleasant cloudy hot spring, but I was a little disappointed that the open-air bath was so lukewarm at this time of year that I couldn't stay in it for long. It might be best to come here to escape the heat from early summer to early fall.

I stayed there the day before I went to Kamikochi.First of all, the bath was great. I want to go again just to take a bath.It was also nice that you could come in anytime during your stay.It was a very hot day in August, but it was chilly at night, so it was just enough to open the window and cover the duvet without using an air conditioner.For dinner, we had bottled beer and soba shochu along with dishes such as wild vegetables, grilled fish, and duck hotpot.It was very filling and delicious.The next day, I had plans to go to Kamikochi, so I got up at 5am and left at 6:30am.*By the way, I was able to sightsee in Kamikochi without lining up.When I told them that I would be leaving before breakfast, they prepared a lunch box for me.With a letter...tearsI will definitely go again.Thank you very much for your help.

It was extremely hot in the lower part of the world, but here there was a natural cool breeze and no air conditioner was needed. The chirping of birds, which you can't hear in the city, was very soothing.Cloudy sulfur hot springs, dinner by the hearth, and smiling faces from all the employees. I was blessed to stay at this inn.I regret that I should have taken paid leave and stayed for several nights, but I am looking forward to visiting again in another season.

Thank you for this morningWhen I checked in yesterday, I said I didn't want to eat breakfast because I wanted to catch the bus to Tatamidaira early today. Even the helpful inn staff will prepare a breakfast box for you. I woke up an hour early this morning, left my key at the front desk, and went to the bus terminal. The inn staff took the breakfast box to the bus terminal and was very impressed.Dinner was delicious and the hot springs were wonderful.If I have the chance, I will definitely stay there again!

It seems that they are not always available, but I was able to use it for a day trip on a Sunday evening. Both the indoor bath and the open-air bath were spacious and well-maintained, so I felt comfortable taking a bath. This time, I decided to visit as an overnight stay.

This is an atmospheric ryokan located a little further down from Mt. Norikura.The hot springs are rich in sulfur and are absolutely wonderful!For dinner, we enjoyed duck hot pot around the table.All dishes are simple yet delicious!I'm in a good mood after drinking Iwagyo's bone sake~~~~🍶🤣🍺

I always stay there once a year. I gave my wife a three-night solo trip to Norikura to celebrate her new job. It seemed like they were able to get away from their daily lives and enjoy nature, food, and hot springs, and they were very happy and satisfied with the score of 120 points. This is an inn with a hearth.The location is a little hard to find, but the atmosphere of the inn is great!The hot springs were also nice.The open-air bath is not very large, but you can enter it even late at night, so you can enjoy the hot spring while looking at the stars.I was very satisfied with the food.As expected, the rice is delicious!The hearth has a nice atmosphere!howeverUnfortunately, there is no refrigerator in the room.You can smoke in the room, so it might be difficult for people who don't like smoking!The futon is fluffy so you can sleep soundly.Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.Thank you for your help!

Unfortunately, HP's image and reality were far apart. The second floor was the guest room, which had not been renovated and was old and unsettling. The biggest problem was that the lighting in the bathroom was very dim and made it uncomfortable.My first impression of the dining venue was that it was dark and cold overall. There was no atmosphere to enjoy a meal.As for the bathroom, the hot spring is perfect.However, the changing rooms were not well maintained and it was very cold, which was a problem.Overall, I get the impression that it hasn't been renovated for the future, so if you have an impression of HP, you may regret it.The overall review was one of disappointment.

Used when traveling with friends.The room is clean and Japanese-style with tatami mats. The lighting in the toilet is quite dim.The bath has a sulfur scent and is said to be drawn directly from the river. Be careful because if the person next to you turns off the hot water, the water for that person will become hot. The floor may be slippery due to the hot spring ingredients, so please be careful if you are an elderly person.Cooking: I was able to eat grilled fish in the hearth. The dishes are made with mountain ingredients and are aimed at adults. I also had a duck hot pot, but it was so bland that I thought it could have been a little stronger.Location: I haven't explored the area around Norikura, but I think it's a good place for people who like mountain climbing and cycling.
