I decided to go to Matsumoto to listen to a concert at a music festival, so I decided to take the opportunity to stay at this hot spring inn just outside Matsumoto. You can also eat here. .The hot springs are transparent and feel moist and gentle on the skin, which is very nice.Although it is near Shinshu University, it is quiet and the open-air bath is relaxing. The open-air bath is slightly warmer, so soak in it slowly and for a long time.It was midsummer, and it was extremely hot during the day, but the open-air bath was so refreshing at night and in the morning. Now, for dinner, I'm happy to have a dish that uses local ingredients. An aperitif, bite-sized and delicious without being too sweet. It's fruit wine, but I don't remember what it is.The appetizer isI don't really understand the taste of venison, but it's also delicious. The sorghum tofu Tenzan Aoi was so good that I felt like it was sorghum. Is Kamasu Saikyoyaki made with Shinshu miso? I guess it's a little strongThe boiled Azumino rock fish and the deep-fried Suwa-produced public fish were all good, with local dishes. It seems to be written as Kouyo and read as Smelt. The soup is edamame crystal, vegetables, and thin beans. It's a wonderful edamame. For alcohol, we will have a 300ml bottle of Takaten Nama Junmai Ginjo from Shinshu Suwa.It has a refreshing taste. The sashimi includes Shinshu salmon, mackerel, Kanpachi, and sweet shrimp.Shinshu salmon is deliciousThe substitute is Shinshu specialty oyaki NozawanaYou may be a little picky about this one.I wonder if Nozawana tastes green.things on the standSteamed with hot springs, various vegetables, domestic Wagyu beef, Shinshu Taro pork, sesame ponzu sauceLike Wagyu beef, Shinshu Taro has an elegant taste and is soft and delicious.Boiled foodBoiled eel, Shojinmaki, grilled eggplant, green flavorThe eel is delicious. The next drink is Shiojiri's Japanese Junmaishu, Miyama Nishiki from Nagano. This one is a little more solid. But I won't disturb you.fried foodConger conger, fried shrimp, green flavor, Japanese yam, matcha saltIn the summer, it's conger conger.mealWhite rice Koshihikari rice from Matsumotomiso souppicklesNozawana radish tamari picklewater sweetsseasonal puddingLeperve yokan from Fujimi TownA very interesting dessert. It was a delicious and satisfying meal that mainly consisted of locally sourced ingredients. And breakfast is also served at the same dining hall.Grilled Shinshu salmon is the main dish.It also comes with Lake Suwa Wakasagi boiled in tsukudani, simmered dishes, and salad. And a tofu pot.I ate too much in the morning. After your meal, you can enjoy coffee in the lobby. I'm glad they have takeout as well.

First time to Asama Onsen.Overnight stay at Izumiso.Overnight stay without meals. Is the room wasted? It was spacious...(^^;;There was an open-air bath in the room, and I took it several times. It's easy because you don't have to move! ︎In the morning, you can enjoy coffee in the lounge. The staff were very nice.

I was looking for an inn with an open-air bath in the guest room and decided on this one. Of course, there is also a large public bath. The water temperature in the public bath was normal, but the open-air bath was warm...no matter how long I stayed in it, it was too cold to come out. The hot water is smooth and has no odor or characteristic, so you won't know it's a hot spring unless you're told. It would be nice if the details were a little cleaner...Maybe it's because it's old...I think the spider webs and the like could be sorted out by cleaning...

I took a day trip bath.Three of my mother's friends and her child were taking a bath, and the child jumped into the bath and the hot water splashed on her face, but the mother didn't apologize or pay any attention to the child, which made me feel sick.My mother also couldn't relax at all because she spoke in such a loud voice. There were other mothers with children, but they had bad manners. I was talking about it.Other than that, the bath is very nice 👍
