Stayed on July 21, 2024This inn is located on Shinmachi-dori in the center of Gujo City, and has been renovated into a very quaint building for easy access. The first time I stayed here was in 2021, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, and I was the only one staying there. In 2022, there were not many guests, and last year I couldn't stay overnight, so I took a day trip to see Gujo Hachiman. This time, I wanted to experience Gujo Odori and was lucky to be able to make a reservation on the day of the event. They don't serve food in the evening, but in the morning they serve a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of items, but I was disappointed that I couldn't eat it this time...so it was diagonally across the street. I had breakfast at a retro coffee shop called Tirol. The inn has a signboard cat named Beka-chan, and I was happy to see her at the entrance when I returned home at night. The landlady seemed to be doing well, too, and I was happy to talk to her.Is the bath made of cypress? I felt very comfortable and tired in the bath. There is Yanaka Mizu Komichi nearby, and the old government building memorial hall, which was the venue for the Gujo Odori, is also nearby, so it's very convenient and I'd like to stay there again next year.

This may be the best inn in the Gujo Hachiman area.We stayed at "Kiri-no-ma" where you can see a Japanese-style garden! It was a great experience and I slept well thanks to the soft futon. The bathhouse can only be used by one person or one group at a time. It felt so good that I went there twice.I would like to use it againNext time, I would like to bring my family to visit during the Bon Odori festival.thank you very much!thank you for helping me!

I used it during the Golden Week holidays in 2024, and it cost a little over 30,000 yen for two people for one night with breakfast, but I'm glad I stayed here. Although the building itself is old, it has been beautifully renovated inside and out, and is well kept. The bathroom was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. It is a good base for walking around the city of Gujo Hachiman.

Four women stayed here this Saturday and Sunday. From the entrance to the room, everything was so wonderful that we all cried out in admiration.I could see a lovely garden from my calm room, which was casually decorated with flower arrangements, and I was confident that this trip would be a wonderful memory. The futon was clean and fluffy, and I woke up feeling good before having a delicious breakfast. It was the best of all.Thank you very much to the young landlady with good taste♡. Please let me stay again.

This inn is ideally located as a base for walking around Gujo and sightseeing in the area, and features a calm Japanese atmosphere.I used it when I was traveling alone this time, and I was able to spend time forgetting the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the futon was comfortable, and I was relieved of my travel fatigue. When I came back from walking around town, a cat greeted me, and when I talked to her, she snuggled up to me.I think I will use it again the next time I come with my family.

I thought that 10,000 yen for one night and breakfast was expensive. There was clearly not enough hot water in the bath to keep my body warm. If you soak normally, it will be around the lower part of your chest. The water area has been renovated and looks clean at first glance, but when I looked up in front of the sink in the changing room, I noticed that there was a lot of dust in the lighting area. The futon is short, so if you are a tall person it will stick out. Also, the pillow is so hard that I can't sleep. The overall impression was disappointing.Breakfast was delicious.

Staying at this inn in the summer is more comfortable and enjoyable than staying at any five-star hotel. Travelers will need geta and yukata to participate in the Bon Odori festival, but these are readily available and it's convenient to go to several venues. So whether you just want to enjoy the atmosphere or dance until midnight, all you have to do is take a bath, rub your tired feet, and crawl into the futon when you're ready to go home. The next morning, I plan to take a walk and enjoy breakfast while breathing in the new, quiet air. Please come and enjoy the Bon dance!

This inn is located almost in the center of Shinmachi Street. The location is very convenient during the Gujo Odori festival. It's about a 15 minute walk from Gujo Hachiman Station, but it's convenient to use the city loop bus.The peony room overlooks the courtyard. It felt very elegant.

I feel that staying here gave me a taste of Gujo Hachiman.I could feel the history, but also the modern atmosphere, and I felt that the hospitality was a tradition that had been passed down. Once you stay here, you'll want to go again.
