This is an auberge, but if you want to eat authentic Japanese food in Karuizawa, this is the place to go! The seasonal ingredients ordered directly from all over Japan are excellent. The master's sense and skills in making the most of these are unparalleled. Basically, the menu is up to you, but I have never been disappointed! The only downside is that it is difficult to make reservations for meals.

My husband and I made a reservation for our anniversary.I made a reservation because I was drawn to the hideaway atmosphere where only two groups are allowed per day, and I'm glad I found a wonderful inn.It's an auberge style restaurant, and the menu changes depending on the day's purchases and customers, so it felt special, unlike a set course.I was so obsessed with eating it that I could only take some pictures (lol), but it was really delicious! The meal exceeded my high expectations because they explained the dishes in detail and I was able to try rare local ingredients.I think the main focus is on the food, but the rooms were cozy with cute wooden furniture, and every corner was well-maintained. Even the Japanese welcome sweets were delicious!Also, the people at the inn were kind and I had a great time feeling the beauty of Karuizawa and forgetting about time.I was lucky that I was able to find it by chance as it seems like there are a lot of repeat customers as they don't put much effort into online media. I would love to visit you again.

It was my first time staying at Auberge, and I was so impressed by how delicious the food was!The amenities and furniture in the room were nice, and the wonderful mattress made it easy to wake up and feel very comfortable.The husband and wife are very friendly and I feel safe even with a baby.Thank you for the enjoyable time.I would love to visit you again!

This is a small Japanese auberge that only serves 2 groups per day. It's delicious anyway! Japanese food and fish are the best in Karuizawa. When you're tired and want to relax, just spend a few days relaxing and doing nothing and you'll feel refreshed! Enjoy the best breakfast!
