A must stay in Izu, the hospitality is unparalleled with delicious food served by the kindest staff. Large spacious rooms with great sea view and accessibility to train station. There even are two private onsens available for use. I loved every second of being there and look forward to returning soon!

I went on my first trip with my 4 month old son to celebrate his birthday. When looking for an inn, I booked this inn with the criteria of having a private bath and meals in the room. The baby plan included breakfast and dinner in the room, diapers, wipes, a trash can for diapers, a bath set, and a sleeping blanket for the baby, which I was very grateful for. The room was on the first floor, opposite the private bath, so I was able to come in whenever it was available, and there was no room next door, so I was able to spend time without worrying about my baby crying. Since it was a weekday before Golden Week, I went to the hot springs 5 times. As mentioned in other reviews, the food is quite large. Kinmedai can be enjoyed in four types: sashimi, shabu-shabu, boiled, and grilled. As the rice progressed, I ended up eating too much. Breakfast is often accompanied by rice, such as dried horse mackerel, tuna on top, whitebait, and mentaiko. Since I was refilling my rice at dinner, I was given a larger portion at breakfast as well. Also, when my son got restless and cried during dinner, the female staff member who brought the food to him held her and soothed her, so she could eat slowly. I had my photo taken with Funamori, and on the way home I had a family photo taken in front of the signboard, which was a great memory. It's a warm place that makes you feel like you're at your grandma's house.Although it is old overall, it was a really nice inn for families with babies. The ocean, fresh greenery, the sound of trains, chirping birds, friendly hot springs, delicious food, and warm customer service. Thank you to all the staff. Highly recommended for those traveling with babies.

The world quietly planned a solo female trip right after spring break. There were various comments about the customer service in the reviews, but the food was highly rated by everyone!Although I was a little nervous about what kind of place it would be, I was attracted by the price and the private bath, so I made a reservation.Conclusion. It was a very satisfying stay for me!A homey feeling that makes you feel like you're visiting your grandpa in the countryside. It's small, but it's clean, and the wiring is very convenient. The room has a refreshing view of the ocean from the window and is fully equipped, so you won't have any inconvenience at all!As the reviews say, all the dishes are delicious. From the sashimi platter, which is too luxurious even for just one person, to the appetizers that go well with alcohol. Kinme's shabu-shabu is also full of volume! The refrigerator in your room has unlimited water and an unlimited boiling kettle, so it's the perfect environment for nonbes 😆Breakfast and dinner are served in your room, so you won't have any complaints even if you eat and drink slowly. It's very comfortable. You can use the private bath as much as you want until 10:00 in the morning!I'm very happy to have it after breakfast.Check out time is 10:30. This 30 minutes is helpful for women 🤣At the end, we had our photo taken with the signboard, and then we went out of our way to the road and bowed politely until we were out of sight as we saw them off.I used to work as a bridal customer service myself, so I know that you really enjoy customer service. I tend to talk a lot because I want my guests to enjoy the charm of our accommodation and cuisine to the fullest.Although there wasn't anything within walking distance, there was a beautiful sea, and it was a perfect accommodation where you could just relax in your peaceful room!I would definitely like to use it again!

First of all, exceptional hospitality. If you are looking for authentic Japanese food and futon style room, you need to try this place. I do understand in the comments why some visitors were annoyed by being told what and how to eat the dinner. However, I did appreciate the host showing us the authentic way to enjoy the meal, as the meal was prepared with love and care. The two meals included in the room price, which were breakfast and dinner, both of them were VERY delicious. The host proactively took pictures of us eating meals and in front of the entrance. If you love seafood, I’m sure you will love this place as they provide very fresh fishes in generous portions. I didn’t want to have any fish the next day because I’ve had too many 😝 Another thing I loved about here is the private onsen. Particularly good for people have tattoos as they are forbidden from the public onsen. But please note that the facilities are a bit old BUT very clean.Ps. Also appreciated the host gave us a pair of tea cups when they knew we traveled for honeymoon ❤️ gorgeous

First of all, the parking lot is difficult to find, and if you keep going, you will end up in the hospital parking lot. I chose this inn because I was attracted to the fact that there are only 6 rooms, the baths are open 24 hours a day, and it's free.As other people have written in their reviews, there was a staff member who gave detailed instructions on how to eat the meal. I appreciate it when you tell me how to eat delicious food, but I'm happy when you tell me how to eat delicious food and ask me to take a photo... It feels like carrying it! I was given detailed instructions, including at breakfast and when I finally left the hostel. These days, we don't see many of the staff members anymore, but they have deep bows, smiles, and are kind and efficient at their work. The detailed instructions on how to eat and how to pose for photos will leave you with unforgettable memories. It has become.Dinner was served in the room, and included a well-seasoned and large boiled red sea bream, a gorgeous boatload of sashimi, and the fish left over from the sashimi was deep-fried, and the bones were crispy and delicious. The sashimi was fresh with no fishy smell, and the daikon radish was very tasty. The room didn't feel new, but it was well cleaned. The breakfast was much more flavorful than the dinner, but I ate the dried horse mackerel whole for the first time after being told that the bones are soft so you can eat it whole.I felt that the water level in the bath was a little low, but the changing area in the bath had a lot of attention to detail that would please women.
