The inn was an old private house that had been renovated, and the guest rooms and common spaces were both warm and stylish. At the bar counter on the first floor, we enjoyed sake and craft beer made from rice from Minami Izu, and talked with the staff about various things. I would have liked to hear more about the many people involved in the renovation of the inn, and the stories about activities such as the Lifestyle Encyclopedia. (I enjoyed looking at the manga drawn by the owner later.) It was a very enjoyable stay. thank you. I'll come stay again.

Minami Izu is located within a 3-4 hour ride from Tokyo on the Odoriko train.A place full of attractive nature, people, and places that is more than just sightseeing.I was able to feel a lot of the charm of Minami-Izu from the inn that the hosts created together with many other people.Although I live in Tokyo, this place, which is a little far away, has become a place where I can ``live''.I thought it would be great if there were more places like this all over the country, and I would have more places to belong.We hope that everyone will come and visit L2, which is more than just a guest house, and experience Minami Izu.-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -2023.09.30I participated in the L2 exchange student program (3 months live-in internship).Throughout this stay, Minamiizu became a place I wanted to return to.There was a sense of warmth and kindness from the people, and it gave me a sense of security, as if my own family was there.It is certain that this experience led to my "richness of mind."I don't regret the choice I made 3 months ago! !I'll be back! ! thank you very much! !

It was reserved for 8 people for one night on October 22-23.It took about 6 hours by car from Shinjuku, Tokyo to the site. Although the expressway was crowded on the weekend, it was relatively easy to access and is recommended for a quick refreshment!This time, I used it in the form of an activity report meeting! Since we were able to use the screen, we could also hold debriefing sessions and meetings 🙆♀️It's a wonderful space where ``good people, good food, and good accommodation'' gather. The owner is also friendly and easy to talk to, and when you ask him about recommended spots, he will answer carefully! There is a hot spring nearby, so I went there to relax and relieve the stress of everyday life!

I used it for one night and two days! The stylish interior and Mr. Ittetsu's personality were very nice. Thank you for hanging out with me even though I have a silly story! It's a wooden building, so if you're concerned about the noise from people walking, I think it's better to use earplugs as they are an amenity.The sake offered at the bar was also very delicious and was great after a bath. The breakfast bread and jam was also delicious. I bought some jam at the roadside station on the way home! I will definitely use it again!

A quick look at the schedule when my husband and I stayed for one night and two days. It takes 2 hours and 40 minutes on the Odoriko train from Shinagawa. Furthermore, it is about 30 minutes by bus from Izukyu Shimoda Station. Once you arrive at the inn and check in, you can rent a bicycle (with electric assist!) and cycle along the river for 15 minutes to the sea. On the way back, you can refresh yourself by sweating at Gin-no-Yu, which has an open-air bath with chloride springs and a sauna. After your bath, enjoy a glass of Shizuoka craft beer at the inn's counter. There are restaurants (please check business hours), convenience stores, and drug stores within walking distance from the inn, so it's convenient. I went to bed looking at the starry sky. The next day, we participated in a lobster fishing trip early in the morning (for more information, check out the Minami Izu Life Illustrated Guide) and got a peek into the real daily lives of the fishermen. We got on a boat and watched fishing up close, and for breakfast we had miso soup with spiny lobster. You can spend your time relaxing, or you can bring your work to the newly built annex and stay for a long time. The rooms in the main building are Japanese-style rooms, so it's also recommended for families. The tropical botanical garden within walking distance was also fun!

It was really good.Above all, it's all about the owner, Mr. Ittetsu's personality!There is no option to stay at another hotel in Minamiizu!I will definitely come again.
