Thank you for your help on a weekday in January. The most distinctive feature of this inn is the luxurious food. It was by far the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. The quantity and quality of the food was perfect, local ingredients were beautifully prepared and presented, and everything was delicious. The main dish, boiled golden sea bream, is exquisite! The baths, including those with attached rooms, open-air baths, and large public baths, were neither hot nor warm and I was able to bathe comfortably. The bath attached to the room was a little empty, but I was able to stay in it for as long as I wanted and have a luxurious time. Also, the heartfelt hospitality of the employees. It's moving. It was perfect from the time I picked her up to the time I saw her off. This cost 30,000 yen per night, which is very cost-effective! Definitely a repeat!*September postscript*I stayed here repeatedly in a different room on weekdays in September.Once again, I was very satisfied with the wonderful hospitality and top quality dishes. One thing that bothered me was that it was relatively inconvenient for people with walking disabilities. You have to go up some fairly steep stairs from the parking lot to the entrance, and the public bath is in the basement, but there are only stairs, and the passage to the private bath is also a gentle staircase. For example, if you need a wheelchair, you may be able to ask an employee for assistance, but it may be a bit of a hassle. That was the only place I was a little concerned about.

On the first day of my Izu trip, I stayed at Kanekichi Ittoan at Imaihama Onsen in Kawazu. This inn boasts of its food and has many reviews, so we included breakfast and dinner. My husband and I were both surprised at how big the boiled kinme that was served as the main dish for dinner, and we were even more blown away by how big it was. It was really delicious☺. The private open-air bath that can be reserved for each room on the day of your stay is a very beautiful stone bath, and it was a great way to feel refreshed.

Although the building is undeniably old, it has been thoroughly cleaned and has a clean feel. The slope and distortion of the hallway floor cannot be helped. The seams in the wallpaper were noticeable under the lighting. The customer service is very polite and I appreciate the attention to detail. The food is wonderful and delicious. Local vegetables, fish, and meat are all fresh. The approach to the open-air bath is wonderful. Perfect atmosphere.Thank you for your help.

Hospitality is good.Dinner was so filling and there were so many items that I was busy (lol)The breakfast was warm and good with lots of options! There were free drinks (cold tea, hot coffee, green tea, black tea) and ice lollies next to the front desk. There are also books, so you can relax. There were local vegetables (cherry tomatoes) on the way to the open-air bath, and they were delicious. It's nice to be able to eat in a private room in a relaxed manner!

I use it every summer, except for typhoons and the coronavirus pandemic.Since I've been using the building for a long time, I don't mind the deterioration of the building at all, and it actually feels like a real home, but if you're seeing it for the first time, you might be concerned. The service seemed to be attentive without being pushy. I don't think it's suitable for people who are looking for excessive service and looking for complaints.Compared to Shirahama, Imaihama is less crowded even during peak hours and is relatively quiet, so I like it. The sand is not white, but the water is very clean. You'll want to eat all sorts of things at a traditional beach hut, but it's a big dinner so I think it's better to be hungry. After dinner, it's a blissful moment to quietly drink coffee in the lobby.

When I parked my car in the parking lot and brought my luggage to the sofa in front of the front desk without wearing a mask, a man with a child suddenly complained loudly to the hotel staff that I wasn't wearing a mask and it spread online. He was threatening me. I was confused by the screaming male child running around without a mask, but when I checked in, the front desk staff treated me as if nothing had happened, which surprised me.Dinner is in a private room for each group, and this time I was alone, so I was eating while video chatting with an acquaintance from the local area on LINE, but Mr. Nakai, who was in charge, was in the picture. I received a complaint from someone, and I felt very uncomfortable as this was the first time this had happened. So I didn't want to see them again and canceled breakfast the next morning. When I checked out, I met Nakai again, but a series of events made me feel bad, and my impression of Izu Imai Beach was so bad that I didn't want to use it again. I have refrained from commenting on what happened during my stay in September 2020, but it was such a terrible experience that I would like to post it again.
