During the summer vacation, three college friends and I decided to go on a trip to Okinawa, and we chose this guesthouse, which had by far the best reviews on booking.com.The transportation option from the airport to the hotel is very helpful for students who are new to driving...!Mr. Taiga, who runs the inn, is extremely kind and funny.The signboard dog, the Schnauzer, will welcome you, and the facility is very clean and comfortable!You can enjoy natural activities such as diving and river climbing, and chill out in the subtropical sauna nearby!There is still a lot of land left for the facility, so I hear that more buildings will be added to This is OKINAWA in the future, so I'm really looking forward to it.You will be welcomed by a warm family, and you will feel like you have found your second home in Okinawa!This was the perfect guesthouse for me as I love nature and dogs.It was a place I would definitely go to again if I had free time 😊

I traveled alone from Tokyo for 3 nights and 4 days to get my diving license.Gorilla chop? diving inThe lectures and lectures were very thorough and I was able to dive with peace of mind.The room is clean, and the inn's signboard dog, Maru, is very friendly 🐶 At night, there is a free bonfire with a starry sky and the sound of owls 🔥!! ︎It was a very satisfying stay for me, who loves nature and animals.I will go again ♩Thank you very much for that section.

I've stayed here twice so far, and in the winter season I was able to enjoy the calm climate and feel the natural sounds of the mountains, and in the summer I had fun with BBQ and fireworks! !We were able to play in the water and watch fireworks with other guests in the square space!There is also a hammock space, so you can relax and feel the Yanbaru forest!We will use you again!

The owner was away for their newborn during our visit. The parents of the owner are very kind and warm. We had a great time staying here with our kids. Kids from different families had lots of fun with the water gun fight (with owner’s father😂) and playing fireworks.It’s highly accessible to different spots in the northern part of Okinawa. We can also do our laundry here.It would be great if there would be more tables or chairs inside the room as well as kitchen for the guest to use.I would prefer to stay here again rather than resorts or hotels.

The owner wasn't there because his wife was giving birth, but the parents were very accommodating. The owner was also very responsive over the phone and made me want to meet him. The pet dog, Schnauzer Maru-kun, is irresistibly cute, making this a highly recommended place for dog lovers. I'm from Okinawa, but my father is from Osaka and my mother is from Kumamoto, and it's a wonderful place where you can enjoy yourself very warmly! I definitely wanted to come again. We are also looking forward to our dream dog run!

This is the B&B that has the most interactions with the locals. The equipment of room air conditioners and large bathrooms are still very new. It is not easy to operate a B&B in mountainous areas. The owner Tiger-san is still committed to providing more services to guests. I hope everyone will support me~

I highly recommend This is Okinawa. I have stayed here multiple times and have nothing to complain about. If I could give even more stars, I would do so. The hosts are amazing and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. We love being surrounded by nature and having a campfire. The location is very close to many points of interest.

A true secret base for adults.It's surrounded by nature, and the sounds of insects at night really soothe you.I was impressed not only by the personality of the owner and his wife, but also by their hospitality.I like bonfires, and they lent me a space where I could start a fire, and I was able to light one for free.Anyway, it's a wonderful place.

This is Okinawa !Well, sort of. The accommodation is located in the countryside of the Motobu town close to Nago City.Due to the location being in the country side there isn’t much to see in the area around the accommodation.We booked a room here during our one week stay in Okinawa, we planned a day trip to the Motobu city so we looked for a cheap accommodation, but we were not aware of the fact that the public transport is not very good and the busses aren’t a liable transportation option in such area.For this reason I can’t give more points for the location.Despite the location being not the most favorable, the accommodation was amazing. The room wasn’t small, included own bathroom with shower, bath and toilet, clean towels, free AC and Wi-Fi , even though the Wi-Fi connection doesn’t really made it into the room.The owners of the place were really hospitable and friendly. Their son provided us an English translation and he offered to give us a ride around the area and showed us some amazing places and ocean sunset in Motobu. They even offered us to make us traditional Osaka style Okinomiyaki for reasonable price of 500¥ per portion.After all of that, we were asked if we need to take a ride somewhere the next day and they were kind enough to take us to the Motobu Town Chautauqua Aquarium free of charge.I can’t say anything bad about the place and the owners. The service was amazing and we enjoyed our stay , even though we were staying here only for one night.In addition you can also rent a BBQ here, or ask for food preparation if you need to.Thanks again for the hospitality and for making our trip to Motobu more amazing.
