This is a hotel where you can rent out a whole building. When you go to the back, there is a garden full of tropical plants and a pool, which was really relaxing. I was able to relax and feel like I was at home because I couldn't see it from the outside. There was a kitchen, dishes, cooking utensils, and washer/dryer in the room, so I felt like I was living in Okinawa. We recommend staying for a long time if possible.During my stay, I deliberately chose a day without any plans, and it felt extremely comfortable, just like being at home, and this day was probably the day I was able to enjoy Okinawa the most. The best part was the morning. The moment I went out on the terrace and watched the morning sun shining on the plants while sitting on the sofa feeling the breeze felt so good, I thought I would continue doing it forever. During the day, I go for a walk at Kibogaoka Beach, which is a 15-minute walk away (it's beautiful and there aren't many people, so it's great), or I take out takeout from a popular poke (local Hawaiian food) or garlic shrimp restaurant and eat it in the garden, giving me a local Okinawan feeling. I could taste it. I was also impressed that I could see the sunset while I was in the kitchen in the evening.I took my work with me, so I sometimes worked on the terrace railing as a desk. The best. It feels so good. Workation is also recommended. The location requires a car. The nearest restaurant or convenience store is about a 20 minute walk. The area is pitch dark at night, so it's best to travel by car. If you want to drink, it's a substitute. There are no shower facilities at the beach within walking distance, but there is a pool in the garden of the hotel, so you can take a bath immediately after swimming. The theme of the building and interior is Hawaii, but it has a light, not heavy-duty feel, so even if you're not a Hawaiian fan, it's fun, and there are many places that look great in photos. The bathroom looked like it was overseas and was so cute!

The Guava Shack in Okinawa is like stumbling upon a hidden gem! Picture this: a charming Hawaiian-style wooden house lovingly crafted by the owner over 4 years. When you step inside, you can just feel the attention to detail that went into making this place feel like a cozy retreat. It's got everything you need for a perfect holiday, including a sweet garden with a pool outside. And hey, if you're worried about getting lost, fear not! The owner has set it all up so nicely with a super user-friendly website that walks you through everything. The location is pretty awesome too - up on a quiet hill, but just a quick 3-minute drive to Lawson and a bunch of restaurants nearby. Plus, both owners speak English and are the nicest folks you'll meet. Oh, and let's not forget the cool stuff inside the house - we're talking top-notch brands like Dyson and Aesop. Seriously, this isn't your average Airbnb; it's top quality all the way. We've stayed in a fair few Airbnbs, but this one really takes the cake. It's swanky in every way and made our honeymoon extra special. Huge shoutout to Ryo and Maki for being awesome hosts! We'd totally recommend this spot to anyone, especially lovebirds heading to Okinawa. Trust us, you can't go wrong with this place.

I had been wanting to stay there for a long time after seeing pictures of the exterior and interior on Instagram and the homepage, which had a Hawaiian feel and felt like home, and I was finally able to stay there. My boyfriend and I stayed overnight, and we were able to check in at the last minute, well after sunset, but the owner warmly welcomed us and gave us a welcome drink, which completely washed away the fatigue from our trip. When I told him that I came for his birthday, he gave me some Guava Shack goods as a surprise gift, and within minutes I was filled with happiness ♡There are kitchen utensils, a washing machine, Bluetooth speakers, and a spacious garden, so I felt so relaxed that I wanted to stop sightseeing and stay forever.I was only able to stay for one night, but next time I would like to be able to relax and enjoy it for about a week (*´艸`)

This is an inn I've always wanted to visit after seeing it on Instagram. It was a wonderful place where you could feel Hawaii more than you imagined! The interior of the room showed the owners' good taste and attention to detail. The floor plan was designed to be comfortable and comfortable, and drinking coffee on the lanai while watching the pink sky in the morning and being surrounded by tropical plants (you could even see the ocean!) was a great experience.I like plants, and when I went there in February, tea tree flowers were blooming, bananas were blooming, and I even saw rare banana flowers, and I've never seen monstera leaves this big. All the plants are vibrant and I'm impressed that the owners are growing them with so much love. The room was comfortable and the garden was beautiful.Being able to relax as much as you like in this spacious room is a relaxing and luxurious experience that you can't find in a hotel. This time I came in winter, but I would like to come again in a different season next time. There is a convenience store nearby, and the owners recommended many restaurants, and there is a kitchen, so you won't have to worry about eating, and I think it's a convenient location for sightseeing.

The garden was beautiful, so whenever I had free time, I would go out and relax in the morning, noon, and evening.Transportation such as a rental car is required, butThe famous roadside station and Mikai Aquarium are within reasonable distance. It was fun to use this as a base camp and go sightseeing everywhere. My kids loved it too, so I'd like to do it again someday.

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. I had a comfortable stay in a cute and clean accommodation. It was especially helpful that it had a washing machine and dryer. From here, it was easy to go out to various places such as Churaumi Aquarium, Bise Fukugi Trees, Kin U.S. Army Festival, Yanbaru Canoeing, and Roadside Station. The nearby Kibogaoka Beach was also a little-known gem.My family loved the inn so much that they wanted to go home as soon as possible after going out!The garden with a variety of plants is very pleasant.I had a lot of fun eating rice at an outside table, looking for island bananas, papaya, and passion fruit, playing games because I could use Wi-Fi, relaxing while drinking coffee, and meditating.I would like to stay there again.
