Shizuoka municipal campgroundAt night, you can enjoy a sky full of stars.Reservations can be made at least one week in advance from the site ``Oxys Batta.'' There's no cancellation fee, and it's cheap at 670 yen per tent. You can see that the toilets are also clean and well maintained. There are Japanese style and Western style. There are no shops or vending machines nearby, so it's best to bring plenty of food and drinks. There is a hot spring facility nearby (about 5 minutes by car) called Kogane no Yu, so you can enjoy a drink after working up a sweat after setting up.

I visited on a sunny day in early November, and it was quiet. It gets cold when it gets dark. It is necessary to take measures to protect yourself from the cold when sleeping. In the morning, the sun comes out early even in mountainous areas. You must bring your own drinking water. There seems to be a discount on the Golden Hot Spring for users. (The discount seems to have disappeared.)Mid-January Winter Camp △ The weather was cloudy and it rained a little, but the clouds cleared and we enjoyed a starry sky. ☆Mid-March Spring Camp △ Weather cloudy then sunnyI thought it might have been due to the rain that fell in the early morning hours of the day I arrived, but there were no puddles or muddy spots on the ground, and the water was well drained. It was a warm night for this time of year. The night was clear and we enjoyed a nice moonlit night.By the time I woke up in the morning, the temperature was over 10 degrees Celsius. After all, this is a good place.December Kurikyan△ Clear weatherAbout 10 groups, open to the 2nd squareThe temperature is just below 0℃.There was miraculously no wind. But it got cold when I was drinking outside. The next day is a leisurely day camp. However, the sun only hits the upper part of Plaza 1 until noon. It's right after the winter solstice, so why not?Mid-May, Golden Week has passed20 groups Fully open to the 3rd squareI was sweating from setting up on a summer day, so I soaked myself in the golden hot water and toasted with beer.At night, there was no wind and I was able to drink comfortably outside. It seems that the temperature has dropped to about 12 degrees Celsius. The next day, it started raining in the morning, and some groups had to leave early. It rained a little on and off, so we stayed at day camp.

I used it at Family Can about 20 years ago. Recently, I've been using the family camp with my grandchildren as a couple and solo, and it's still a great campsite.

A campground that can be reached by driving from the city. It's pretty empty on weekdays during the off-season. It was a little scary when I was the only one there 😵💧It's deep in the mountains, so there's no caretaker at night, so it's unnecessary. Even if you have a car, it would be great if you could ride a bike. The ground is stubborn, so it's hard to stick the pegs in. If there's no wind, it's easier to stand on your own. The reason I don't go there often is because it's not a place where you can stay overnight and go somewhere else, so it feels like you only camp for one night or two days. It's not suitable for a few nights of canoeing (except for the gravel forest road that leads to Yamanashi, as it's not an off-road vehicle).

I was wondering if there was a good campsite in the Umegashima area, so I went to check it out.The site is quite large. The tent sites are in the first to third blocks. It's a campground where you can stay cool in the summer with lots of shade from trees in every block, and since it's publicly managed, the usage fee is low, and if you bring your own tent, it's only 670 yen.If you want to pitch a tarp, it's an additional 670 yen, and even if you pitch a tent and tarp, it's 1,340 yen. Of course, there are clean toilets and a kitchen. You can't go down to the river, so you can't play in the river. There is a multi-purpose field-like square where you can play ball. You can do something likeTo use it, you must make an online reservation at least one week in advance. After this preview, I thought I would use it the next Saturday or Sunday and tried to make a reservation online, but unfortunately it was outside the reservation period and I couldn't make a reservation. If you are thinking of using it, please make a reservation well in advance.
