It was a good campsite! What I likedThere is a bath (and it's spacious!)The restrooms, kitchen, etc. are well maintained overall. Each site is separated by plants to ensure privacy. There is a storePoints that caught my attentionThe dog run is on the river side, and the fence prevents a good view of the river or limits the number of sites where it can be seen.Wouldn't it be better if the dog run was on the mountain side? I thoughtThe usage fee is a bit high, starting from 3500 yen, but I think it's worth it because of the ease of maintenance.

Auto camping dogs OKWestern-style with washlet, private hot spring availableHand soap available in the kitchenFirewood for saleDog run availableWeekdays 4,100 yen for 2 peopleNo hot water in the kitchenGarbage take-out and ash dumping area availableThe toilet is old. There are two Western-style and two Japanese-style toilets for women. The Western style has a washlet heated toilet seat.Hand paper is also installed in the hand washing area of the toilet.I was concerned that the sound of the toilet cubicle door and the entrance door opening and closing could be heard outside. Maintenance required. They also sold firewood, and I think it was 800 yen and 1000 yen.It was a clear day, so the night sky was full of stars. It was very beautiful. It was very quiet at night, with no animal sounds at all, just the sounds of insects. The best thing was the private hot springs that cost 300 yen per person for 40 minutes.Although the hot springs were colorless and odorless, my skin became smooth after just applying it to my arms.I took my time in the private room. The kitchen was also very clean and spacious. One thing that bothered me was that even though it was sunny, there was a lot of condensation. This campground in Kakegawa City is also prone to condensation, but the only thing I noticed was that there was a lot of condensation on the inside of the tarp. It's not easy to get to because it's far away, but it was a very nice campsite.

I went there in August 2024.It took about 2 hours by car from Shizuoka City, which is close to Fuji City. The mountain road along the way is narrow in places and visibility is poor. My child was happy when he saw the "Sound the horn" sign (lol) There are some places where the signal is interrupted.I didn't go there this time, but there is a cafe called Casso Yokozawa about half way there, where you can have lunch. It was hotter than I expected during the day. It got a little cold during the night, and in the morning it was cool and very pleasant. This time I was traveling with a small child, so I booked number 31, which was near the restrooms and water fountain, but number 21 seemed to have the best view.As others have written, the restrooms were very clean. There were hardly any insects and there was no smell, probably because they burned mosquito coils, so it was very comfortable. The water area was also very clean. However, there were a lot of insects on the site.Baths are 300 yen per person and 40 minutes per group. Rinse-in shampoo and body soap are available. There were two dryers. The bathtub is larger than I expected, with enough hot water for two children and two adults. The hot water was smooth and felt good.It took a while to get there, but the emerald green lake of Lake Igawa along the way and the mountains of the Southern Alps that could be seen from the campsite were breathtaking and soothing. I would like to go there again during the autumn leaves season.

Since it was my first time camping, I had to make a lot of phone calls, and they responded politely.I was told on the phone that the sites were small because it was an old campground, but Site 37 was large enough to accommodate two cars.I expected there to be a lot of bugs in the bathroom since it's a place with a lot of nature, but they burned mosquito coils and it was very clean, which was great.Tashiro Onsen has melting hot water that I would like to use as a day trip hot spring. I would like people who went to the campsite to come and join us.
