People who want to stay at a ryokan at a low priceThe old private house in the annex is separate for people who want to stay in a nice place even if it's a little expensive, so it was very nice.Breakfast is the best option for both inns and traditional houses. It's a decent amount, so it's better to wake up early in the morning and take a walk along the coast before going.

An elementary school soccer team happened to be staying at the main building, so I was introduced to an annex and was able to stay there. It was nice that it was clean and had just been renovated. In winter, it gets dark quickly when you go out, so it's easy to get lost, so you had to be careful. The nearby coast is very beautiful and the sound of the waves is soothing. Breakfast was also very delicious. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance of the nearby fishing port. If you plan to eat or drink in your room, we recommend purchasing food at a souvenir shop or convenience store in advance. The surrounding area is a residential area, and there are almost no shops around JR Mochimune Station.

This inn is within walking distance of Mochimune Minato Onsen and Minato Yokocho. This time, I stayed at Ume-no-ma, which is a renovated old folk house, and the room was clean and relaxing. Since I was staying without meals, they left me alone in a good way and I was able to spend a relaxing time. The staff are kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is homely, so you can feel at ease staying at this inn. Personally, I would be grateful if I could pay by credit card.

I stayed at a Japanese inn. The facilities are old, but on the other hand, you can enjoy the nostalgic Showa era atmosphere. The meal included typical fish caught in Yaizu, and I was very satisfied in terms of quality and quantity. The shop owners were very nice and I felt comfortable using the service.

I found a very nice accommodation. The plan included an inn and an old folk house, and I wasn't sure which to choose, but this time I had a nationwide discount, so I decided on an old folk house. It's an unusual structure with three rooms in one building: pine, bamboo, and plum, but the entrances are in three different places, so you won't be able to match with other people. However, because the neighbors are close, you can hear the noise on quiet nights. Especially if you have children. However, I could hear it even in the hotel, so it was within my expectations. The local sake from Shizuoka called Tenji was the best. I was satisfied with the food as each group had one tuna fish. Breakfast also has 6-7 items. The sweet tamagoyaki is made fresh when you arrive. It's strange for an amateur to say this, but he has good skills. When I talked to the owner about wanting to eat one tuna kama for each person the next time I came, he said that he could do it for an additional fee if I contacted him in advance. By the way, both the traditional Japanese house and the inn were fully booked on this day.

An inn renovated from an old folk houseThe food is light and mainly consists of seafood, but for some reason I was surprised that they were able to serve pork shabu-shabu🫢Well, I would say it's fair to bad😅I sleep on my own futon, but it was the first time in years that I had laid out a futon. After making the reservation, I realized that the check-out time was 9am, which was a surprise to me as I usually choose accommodations at 11am.

I booked a plan that included breakfast. was wrong. It would have been better to have a plan that included two meals. If breakfast costs that much, dinner is a must too.It should be fine. The inn is old. At the reception desk, there was an old registration form from around 1945 on display, so I was pretty satisfied. Personally, as long as the food is good, everything is good.

In early April, I came to Mochimune just to have a relaxing drink on the beach. On that occasion, I stayed overnight at Yanagiya Ryokan.I chose this location because it was just a minute walk to the coast. The room we stayed in was in an old private house, not in the main building. The room had been renovated in the past few years, so it was very clean and comfortable.Amenities were also plentiful. In addition, the host of the inn had a calm yet friendly personality, and I felt a high level of hospitality.I don't usually write reviews like this, but that's why I decided to write one.I grabbed a craft beer from West Coast Brewing, which is right next to the inn, and a hamburger and fries from Gratefuls, then headed to the coast. We set out chairs and a small table and enjoyed beer, hamburgers, the spring weather, and the ocean. After sunset, there was a bath in the room at the inn, but there was a super public bath nearby, so I went there. After enjoying the sauna and cold bath, we stopped by a local izakaya called ``Ooshi'' while taking a walk, and ate some seafood. It was the best holiday.I love Shizuoka Prefecture and travel there often, and Mochimune is also a very nice place. I definitely want to come again.I also wanted to stay at Yanagiya Ryokan, which was my base for this trip, again.thank you very much.
