During the hot season of late August, I stayed in a tent the day before climbing Mt. Hijiri.This is a wonderful mountain hut with plenty of water available.The tent site is spacious and well maintained.The location is excellent, making it easy to access from Shibasawa Gate and Sawarajima.The amazake cooled under running water soaked into my tired body.

2024.7.20 I used the tent field. I was surprised at how flush the toilet was. I was surprised that there was a large selection of jelly drinks available at the shop. I'm glad I was able to get breakfast. Many of the tent sites are flat and easy to pitch. It would have been better to have pegs because it was dirt, but there were a lot of rocks so I was fine without them.
