I participated in the "half-day snorkeling tour around Barras Island"! This time we happened to be the only ones participating, so the guide took the time to take care of us carefully. The weather was a little unstable, so I asked them to take me to the main second half of the race early before it got too rough, and that turned out to be the right decision. I was really lucky because the people on the other tour who came later seemed to have given up on snorkeling.The scenery I saw underwater was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The extremely clear sea, with its brightly colored coral and gracefully swimming fish, was a truly spectacular sight, and I was moved by the beauty of being able to see far into the distance. Thank you very much for guiding me to such a wonderful place.The next place we visited was a spot where we could see sea turtles. The guide explained to us, ``You are sure to see sea turtles,'' and we had the valuable experience of actually swimming with sea turtles. Although the visibility was a little lower than the first point, it seems that you can still see sea turtles in this place where they sleep. I was also lucky enough to see a clownfish hiding in an anemone near the bright coral, further deepening my memories.Unfortunately, we were unable to land on Barras Island due to the timing of the tides, but it was still a very satisfying tour. For those who wish to land on Baras Island, I feel it is important to check the tide times and contact the tour company in advance. We were also given photos after the tour so we could look back on our memories. Honestly, I think it would have been nice if you could take a picture of us snorkeling.Next time you participate, I would like you to take me to the recommended points again!*Accommodation facilities are not used.

Participate in a one-day snorkeling tour landing on Hatoma Island, a phantom island.One guide does everything in the morning, and it takes a lot of time to confirm the participants. There were 6-8 similar tour companies. The cartel fee is almost 12,000 yen everywhere. We left quite late and were the last to leave. The most shabby ship without a roof. Most of the guests were from Hoshino Resorts. Most of the guests are used to snorkeling, so there were no problems with snorkeling. Lunch was surprisingly in the passageway of the ferry terminal. And two rice balls that were not tasty. Other tours have their own rest area and have lunch there. Drink only water during snorkeling and during lunch. It was lonely.The phantom island cannot be seen because it is at high tide. I wish I had been informed in advance. Furthermore, there is a charge of 300 yen for showering after the tour. I felt like I was obsessed with money. Both the guide and the people at the hostel were unfriendly, and when the tour ended, no one said a word of thanks and went to the shuttle bus to each hostel.I've participated in snorkeling tours with other companies, but when we parted, we greeted each other with a smile, but here. I think this is a tour you shouldn't choose.

We did the one day snorkel tour with monsoon, easy booking online through the homepage or instagram, changed dates last minute due to weather and was very well managed - very responsive in english!The tour itself was just perfect! The guide and captain Mister Shoten was super talkative, showed us the most amazing spots for snorkeling, was very caring and he took great pics! This time also a friend of him was on the boat which was even more fun as she was a great free diver! We had lunch at Hatoma island after some snorkeling and then went for some more snorkeling! Truely an experience we will never forget! Thank you so much and hope to see you guys soon!

I used it on the Pinaisara Falls tour.They will guide you very kindly and carefully.I was allowed to stop by the hotel once to change clothes and explain the tour.This year, January was miraculously a good day for the tour, and the weather was perfect, so we were able to fully enjoy kayaking and trekking during the off-season when there were fewer people.When traveling to Iriomote Island in January, please be aware that the ferry to Uehara Port often cancels (you can find out on the ferry's official website at 6am on the day of the trip).If the flight to Uehara Port is cancelled, you will need to take a flight 1 hour earlier to Ohara Port.

Pay attention to the 1 start reviews on this place, trust me they matter.Are you looking for an organization to ruin your trip to Japan by acting pure gangster with you over a misunderstanding? Then go to this place, because its got to be the only place in Japan that will disrespect you in such a way… especially if you’re a woman! Think Sopranos style harassment.Me and my husband booked a snorkeling trip with this place- because yes not only do they offer a place to stay but they also offer tours around the island. We had to cancel the next morning due to sickness and didnt realize there was such a steep cancelation policy. Hoping we could reschedule, or at least have time to go to the atm (thats across the island btw), we tried to work something out with them on the phone. Thinking things were fine we went about our morning only to have them show up to our hotel and demand we go with them “NOW!” or else, to pay a penalty for cancellation. Not only were they unfriendly but thought it was cute to have two grown men against one woman.The worker hiding behind his manager with a smug look on his face, speaking his mind like he was tough (eye roll).

Every time I go to Iriomote Island, I use snorkeling, river & kayaking.Iizuka-kun, who is very knowledgeable and always has fun stories to tell, has been nominated by all the fans in my family.This time as well, when we snorkeled, they checked the sea conditions and moved us to the best spot, and I was really impressed with their professionalism.I think they are a great company that puts their customers first.(Personally, I think it's No. 1 compared to other companies.)We hope to see you again next year!

The guide will guide you to the top of the waterfall while talking with you, so you can have fun reaching the top of the waterfall.We definitely recommend the one-day course for both the ocean and waterfalls!I often hear people who took the same tour say on the way back that they wished they had added more time to Iriomote Island.(I thought so too when I first came to Iriomote Island)Stay a little longerI want you to experience both the sea and the waterfall!There are a lot of people in July and August, but the weather is exceptionally good, and the color of the sea is by far the most beautiful! !By the way, if you want to take a leisurely tour, I think it would be best to avoid the holiday season.Used in July 2023
