It's close to Nakamoto Beach and far from the port, but there was a shuttle service so it wasn't a problem. Bicycles, awamori, and washing machines (although I didn't use them) are free. It seems to be run by a husband and wife team, and they both explained things to me in detail and made me feel comfortable.Anyway, what impressed me was how delicious the food was.One of the purposes of this trip was to photograph the Milky Way. I was very happy to be able to see this spectacular view from the balcony of my guesthouse.

It's beautiful and the food is delicious. A washing machine, bicycle, and awamori are also provided free of charge, courtesy of the owner.The water and rooms are clean.There is only one flight from Taketomi Island to Kuroshima, so we went island hopping.2023.9 revisited. This time with a friend.I watched the stars with my fellow guests and hung out until around 10am.The next day, I did thalassotherapy on Nakamoto Beach at low tide, bought a Horie sandwich, and drank beer at the hotel, which felt like heaven.2024.2 revisitVisited Hateruma → Ohara → Kuroshima.It's a long trip for a week, so I visited just to have a peaceful stop. The food was delicious, we had some awamori, and we even borrowed a washing machine.

Astonishing beaches and night sky. Tetsuya-san is the host, very polite and play sanshin (Okinawa musical instrument) after the dinner. Delicious breakfast and dinner are included, cooked by the owners. The island has about 220 people and 2800+ cows. Bike is free for use. If you want peace of mind, relax, beautiful beaches, good food, so you have to go, it is a must. Only take care of crows, they follow you and eat your snacks.

The room is clean, the food is a little Okinawan, but it's enough for what you need, the people at the inn are calm, you can rent bicycles for free, the Nakamoto coast is close, and the starry sky is nice.

Stayed in December 2022.The food was delicious. It was my first time traveling to Kuroshima alone, but I felt so comfortable that I extended my stay for one more night.The owner and his wife are nice people, and we were able to rent bicycles at the inn.The starry sky was beautiful and the owner showed us around.I would like to stay here again when I come to Kuroshima.

I had a very comfortable stay. I only stayed for one night, but I thought it would have been better to stay for three relaxing nights. The food was delicious, and there was always cold water to drink and a pot of water. There were a lot of comics and novels. Laundry and bicycles were free, so I was able to spend my time without any inconvenience. I want to go again.

I had never been to Kuroshima, so I stayed there for one night on my way back from Hateruma.As per the reviews, the service was also very good.The next day, I hung out with a kind regular customer and went to the Kuroshima Institute together. The owner was very kind, and when I told him it was my first time visiting Kuroshima, he explained the island to me and played the sanshin at night.I only stayed for one night, but I would like to go again because I wanted to stay at Nodoka-san rather than Kuroshima.

Dinner is a selection of island cuisine and Chinese cuisine, and is very delicious with free awamori. The inside of the building is very clean, and you should be careful when using the restrooms.I would not be able to stay at another guesthouse, so I would like them to be a little more lenient.

I used it for the first time in 2006 when it had just opened, and then the second time the following year in 2007.I returned to Kuroshima in March 2022 for the first time in 15 years, and of course I visited here.Even after 15 years, nothing has changed and I'm surprised that it's still as beautiful as ever!It has been well maintained and memories from 15 years ago have come back vividly.Oh, I remember it so nostalgic! I'm so happy. It must be difficult to take care of.From the first time I stayed there, I thought, ``It's rare to find a guesthouse with such delicious food among the many inns in Yaeyama,'' and that hasn't changed at all.There is a charge for beer, but you can drink as much awamori as you like for free.I was disappointed that I couldn't enjoy Yuntaku to the fullest with my fellow guests due to the new coronavirus, but I would like to come back and enjoy Yuntaku to the fullest once that worry is gone.You can borrow new and shiny bicycles for free.There are goats kept in the garden, so small children may also enjoy it.This is my favorite guesthouse that is truly full of hospitality.

The facility was new and well-cleaned and well-organized. There are two bathrooms (with bathtubs) and separate toilets for men and women, making this an inn where women can feel safe. Both the husband and wife are friendly and kind. The food is very delicious. Drinks are priced separately, but 500ml of beer is reasonably priced at 300 yen. Morning coffee was provided, and any leftover coffee was made into iced coffee, so I could drink it anytime. Bicycles, which are essential for sightseeing in Kuroshima, can be rented for free. At Yuntaku, the host played the sanshin. Although I was only able to stay for one night this time, I would like to come back and relax.

The owners’ hospitality was superb. The owner took us for a walk to see the sky full of stars at night. The dishes are also great. Beds might be a bit uncomfortable for those who are not familiar with futon.

I have stayed at several guesthouses on Kuroshima, and they are very nice and I highly recommend them. The rooms are clean, the food is delicious, and it's close to Nakamoto Beach.During our stay, the host gave us a tour of the starry sky at night and told us interesting stories not only about the stars but also about life on Kuroshima.They also let me listen to songs while playing the sanshin in the garden, and I was able to spend a relaxing time looking at the starry sky.This is an inn I would like to visit again.Please note that the inn is located in an area where mobile phone reception is difficult.
