This is already the fifth time since I bought a book (half price ticket) about hot springs in Akita, Iwate, and Aomori prefectures. I used to have pain at the base of my neck, but since I started coming here, it has gotten much better 😊

I went there on the 3rd and 10th of December 2023, and both times the lights were on inside, but I couldn't go inside because it was temporarily closed. Today is the third time in the new year...(^_^;)We were open for business! (^○^)A hot spring with smooth, brown water flowing directly from the source♨️. Apparently it was hot before, but the temperature has dropped. It wasn't too hot or lukewarm for me, so it was easy to get into. It's cheap at 367 yen per person. The water is brown so you can't see inside the bathtub, so be careful of the steps. There is no open-air bath, only one indoor bath. It seems that there was a hot water bath, but there is no hot water now. There are two saunas. Regular sauna and mist sauna. Of course there is also a cold bath.Rinse-in shampoo and body soap available. There are 4 sinks and 4 free hair dryers. There is an outlet and you can use your own hair dryer. There is a restaurant 🍴 where you can eat. There is a free rest area, but many elderly people bring their own food and lie down to sleep, each occupying a table, so it's hard to find an empty spot. There is a cafeteria across the road from Yuasis that also sells bento boxes.

Use the day trip bathWhen I came for Obon last year, I couldn't enter because the pump was broken. After that, I saw some reviews saying that the source of the hot spring water had changed and it had become warmer, but it was still hot for me! !The water is dark brown and cloudy, giving it a nice hot spring feel.

It was a brown hot spring that was not heated, so it seemed like it was lukewarm, but the water was just the right temperature and relieved my fatigue. Is it too hot for young children?

Visited in June 2024, only used the bath. There is a main bath, a sauna, and a cold bath. I heard that the temperature of the main bath was lower than before, but it wasn't particularly lukewarm and was just right. It must have been quite hot before.Personally, I felt that the temperature of the sauna was low. There is a large tatami rest area on the first floor, which you can use by paying a rest fee.The overall interior was very Showa-style, which I personally liked.
