It's definitely better than most business hotels.Service, building quality, etc.I think the price is reasonable too.Wi-Fi is also good. But is there a fire station nearby? The siren noise is loud at night.I don’t know if there were many fires the day I stayed.Other than that it's okay

This hotel is just too big for its own good I stayed there for four nights, there's very little customer service to be had it's obvious the management aren't bothered because they know they'll always have customers due to the central locationand because of the volume of customers there's obviously corners cut at the housekeeping end and a big rush on check out.The check in process was meant to be a self service but was so convoluted meanwhile there were four receptionists who couldn't be bothered to help or do things manually.Small room which is to be expected in shinjuku, but a terrible use of what little space there was it was very cramped for 2 people. The toilet was installed too close to the wall so you had to sit on it at an angle. Oh and under the bed was filthy I looked down the side of the bed one night to see a pile of fingernails looking back up at me. Stains on the bed linen also.My biggest issue by far though is the air-conditioning it was terrible in the room. No open windows or natural air circulation. I checked out 2 days ago and have been coughing since.Loses points also for the laundry room. The clothes dryer was terrible didn't dry our clothes at all after 2 cycles. Also the rush to get people out for a 10 am checkout or face extra charges is a complete mess, I've never seen rush hour traffic for an elevator before it was ridiculous. It took us 15 minutes to get on one with luggage. It doesn't take a genius to see they should stagger check out times to a few floors at a time.Great location apart from that it's an utter biohazard of a hotel. They should change the name from Kabukicho tower to faulty tower.

Cheap is cheap. Rubbish is rubbish. The wifi in the room kept cutting off, even at 9am in the morning. The phone system in the room was so old that making outbound calls (local to Tokyo) could not connect to other people's audio option systems. When I asked the service desk for help, they said they would charge a fee for borrowing the phone. I have never encountered such a restaurant in Gao Ao.

I recently stayed at APA Hotel in Japan and arrived just 30 minutes before the official check-in time. Despite the room being ready, they insisted I pay an additional $15 if I wanted to check in early. While I understand it's a business and they have policies, it left me wondering what happened to good customer service. Aren't hotels supposed to prioritize guest satisfaction and create positive experiences? As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I always allow guests to check in early if the room is ready , because keeping guests happy should be the priority. The rigid approach here really left a negative impression."I recently stayed at an APA hotel in Japan, and I arrived 30 minutes before check-in time.
