After enjoying a day trip to the hot springs in Nyuto Onsenkyo, which is famous nationwide as a hidden hot spring, I was looking for a nearby inn to stay at, and the inn I found was Minshuku Sonosuke. The 7,000 yen price for one night and two meals is quite affordable, but with the National Travel Support program, the price is reduced to 4,200 yen, a 40% discount. Furthermore, since I stayed on a weekday, I was given a coupon worth 3,000 yen, so I was completely exhausted. When we arrived, we completed the check-in procedures at the dining room and were then shown to our room.I waited in my room for about 30 minutes until dinner time and went to the dining room with an empty stomach. When I sat down, I saw a table filled with local ingredients and dishes, which further whetted my appetite. This time, I had booked a 3-drink tasting course of local sake, so in addition to the feast, there were also bottles of sake displayed on the desk. The number is 7 bottles. This was due to his father's clever plan, and even though it was a three-drink tasting course, he prepared seven types of Tohoku local sake. There were a total of four people at the desk: myself, one of my companions, the father of the inn, and another female guest. At my father's suggestion, we tasted a variety of local sake and tasted a variety of delicious foods. At first, each of us was enjoying the food in front of us, but as the alcohol gradually started drinking, the four of us naturally started chatting, and we had a most enjoyable evening. After returning to the room, my companions went to bed right away, so I relaxed alone on the large veranda and fell asleep. The breakfast was also filling and full of flavor. It's been a while since I stayed at a minshuku, but I had such a wonderful time there, so I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the area.thank you very much!

It is run by an elderly couple, but are there any other people with wisdom? The facilities have been beautifully renovated and Wi-Fi is OK. I had a comfortable stay without any complaints. The local home-cooked food prepared by the landlady was very delicious and I was very satisfied. My father loves alcohol and makes a lot of recommendations. It feels so good that I want to revisit it

We have had a pleasant stay there. The dinner and breakfast served were delicious! Had a sake session with the owner, very good experience. The view from the room was picturesque as the land was covered with snow. Have a unique experience there.

From the outside, which looks like an ordinary house, you will be surprised at the gap between the beautiful and spacious interior. When I opened the normal entrance and entered, I found no one there, so I called out several times and checked in at the dining room on the right side of the entrance. The dining room, toilets, and baths had all been renovated, and were quite new and comfortable. The heating is working and I have no complaints.Since it was the fall foliage season, it was fully booked, and most of the guests were from outside the prefecture. The meals were mainly local Akita cuisine, filling in volume and, of course, delicious.Even tourists from outside the prefecture said that the seasoning was not too strong and it was delicious. It coincided with the season for new rice, so I ate all of the ohitsu rice.
