There was eco-cleaning that I didn't ask for, so when I checked with the front desk, they apologized and gave me a drink...Isn't this a drink for eco-cleaners? That's why it's different!

There is a pretty good hair dryer in the public bath! The best!

There are tons of delicious food around the hotel. The Hinai chicken yakitori was the best. The hotel's welcome ice cream and curry service at dinner were also really nice touches.

I really wanted to see the collaboration between Odate City's Daimonji Yaki and Fireworks Festival, so I searched the city, but the hotels near the event venue were already booked up, and there were no places I could see from my room.Although I was not familiar with the area, I thought about the walking distance to the launch site, and among the two older hotels with vacant rooms I searched for, I found a comment that said ``Daimonji and fireworks can be seen from the women's public bath.'' I decided to go with this because it is scheduled to go ahead if it rains a little, so even if it rains, I can still see it from the bathhouse, and even if I suddenly can't go that day due to a typhoon and cancel, I only have to pay for the accommodation and morning buffet, and it's cheap enough that I don't have to give up.Up to two popsicles are free upon arrival. Apparently they also have curry on weekdays.A Japanese-style room on the second floor. It's spacious, but the walls are thin like sliding doors, and you can hear people talking. The room has a washlet and washroom, but no bath, so you can take a bath or sauna in the large public bath upstairs. I was overjoyed to see the large character ``Da'' on the mountain that I could see from the window in front of the massage room/laundry room and elevator. This looks good.Although it is old, it is well-maintained and the front desk is very responsive.I couldn't go unless I had dinner outside, but even though there were bars and restaurants nearby, the last orders had already been taken even before the Daimonji (starting at 8:00) and fireworks (8:10). I was turned away by many places that were fully booked. There was a long line at the food stall village at the event venue.A temporary toilet was also installed on the riverbank. In the end, there was none, so we finally went to a pub near the hotel and had a meal.At the end, there was a spectacular display of ``Daimonji'' and ``Fireworks'' from the hotel window. I'm jealous of the people who can see from my room, but I'm enjoying summer in Akita Odate. We came by car, walked, drank, watched the typhoon forecast on TV, and looked at our smartphones, so we all got tired and fell asleep like mud in preparation for the next day, so we didn't really pay attention to the voices next door. I followed suit.On the day of the typhoon, I was satisfied with the hotel's breakfast buffet.Check out early to escape from the typhoon. My first trip to Akita Prefecture was fun.

I visited again in August 2024.This time, I couldn't get a reservation anywhere else, so I reserved a Japanese-style room at this hotel.I was thinking of not worrying about the sound issue since I had written that there was a problem with it, but there was one thing I couldn't forgive. There were no curtains. During the summer, the sun rises early and I thought it was a bit tiring to have the bright sunlight coming into the room. The exterior looked old and I was a little worried, but the rooms had been thoroughly renovated and were very comfortable. Also, although the time is fixed, I am very satisfied with the service where I can have curry in the evening. The only thing that bothered me was that the ceiling of the public bath was full of mold, and it was noticeable when I took a bath.
