When I travel, I am a backpacker who likes to explore the local atmosphere in a leisurely and quiet way rather than shopping in the city.It is a space that contributes to the local community, and is artistically very interesting and wonderful! It was my first accommodation in Osaka, and I found some second-hand clothes that I liked and wore them well throughout the trip.Since it is located in a market alley lined with karaoke bars, the sound of singing can be heard from the street, but it becomes quiet when it is time to sleep. I enjoyed it for what it was.The neighborhood atmosphere here was also very interesting. There are many more regulars at the alley stores than outsiders. I had so much fun watching them and eating them. It's a cheap neighborhood, and there's a large, cheap store right next door, so I bought a discounted lunch here for dinner and ate it at my hotel.Home-cooked community meals are available daily at the property for lunch and dinner (cost applies). At ten o'clock in the morning, I did the Japanese national exercise in the yard and greeted people passing through the market to work by saying "Oh!". It was a beautiful, cute, and fun experience... almost like something out of a Japanese movie. The staff were friendly, and I easily made friends with the guests. I will definitely come back next time! It was fun~~There is a great sushi restaurant right next door. It is very likely to be a real artisan's house. There is also an okonomiyaki and yakisoba restaurant nearby that even my Japanese friends recognized!*The picture is 30000 yen yakisoba from a corner store! It's cheap to eat haha. The lunch box place in front of the accommodation also offers generous portions for 800 yen! I thought it would be a good place to live because it was cheap and delicious in many ways.*As expected... I should have bought more clothes...😂

Loved my stay here! The hostel is colorful and has a lot of character, while also being very clean. The communal dinners are super tasty and healthy, a nice break from eating out all the time (we even had handmade udon one night). Sometimes you’ll even get live music from the staff or from a neighbor stopping by. It’s close to the subway as well as lots of little local restaurants and tiny karaoke bars. I felt like I got a real taste of local life in Osaka by staying here.

Unique hostel that doubles as a cafe, shop, meeting area and community center. For 1100 yen one can join in on dinner or breakfast, which is homemade with the help of those around. You might be asked to help out if you decide to join. The shared rooms and facilities were clean. The location is in a somewhat poorer district and rather unique due to the occasional female barker at night and the location of the red light district nearby. Both are easily avoided however.
