Landing on Toshijima excited for my first inn on a remote island! We boarded the innkeeper's old Hiace car and arrived at Shiosai no Yado Yamashichi in less than 5 minutes. Hmm, the appearance is more dated than I expected and full of the Showa era. I'm a nostalgic old man, so I'm excited. Check in while being greeted by the cheerful proprietress at the entrance. Both the host and the landlady are kind and pleasant. The rooms were well-renovated to suit the times. The latest toilet automatically opens the lid and it's amazing. The cleaning is thorough and gives a feeling of cleanliness. Sounds good. The bath is a moderately sized open-air bath that is attached to a boat-shaped indoor bath. Below you, you can see a landscape that looks like an island view, descending from the dense mountains to the sea. There's nothing better than soaking in the open-air bath in the evening and looking out at the sea. For dinner, I splurged and had a course that included Mie's three major tastes: spiny lobster, abalone, and wagyu steak. . A whole boiled fish is also the best. I'm glad you came... After the meal, my stomach was full, but let's go on a night tour (500 yen per person) to see sea fireflies, noctilucent insects, and constellations with commentary from the host. We were guided around the island's main facilities in an old Hiace (most cars on the island are light cars), which weaved safely through the narrow alleys unique to a remote island with the master's skillful steering, while looking up at the star-filled sky. Explanation of constellations. Afterwards, at the fishing port, there was a demonstration of the sparkling sparkle of sea fireflies and noctilucent insects. Actually, it was my first time seeing it, so my wife was also very happy. If you sleep with the window open and the screen door open at night, you can hear the sea noise! It lived up to its slogan, "Inn with the Sound of the Sea." Also, the loud chorus of frogs was amazing (lol) In the morning, I took a walk around the area early in the morning, toured the ancient tombs on the mountain that I had just climbed up, was surprised by a signboard explaining the giant eel that lived in the temple pond, and wandered around the fishing port. I thoroughly enjoyed the Wagu district. Then take a morning bath. And breakfast. Breakfast at a traditional inn is very good. Even though I ate so much last night, I was forced to eat more in the morning. Anyway, the kindness of the host and the landlady was wonderful. I would love to visit again.

The seaweed shabu-shabu for breakfast was exquisite. The sashimi is thick and will fill you up just by itself (lol)

I had a very good impressionI visited for the first time in 10 years.Dinner is the same as before.I was very satisfied with both the quantity and quality.Poor cleaningIs there something in the washbasin that belonged to the previous customer?Contacts have been thrown away,The toilet has been renovated to a new, higher-end model.Even though it's been done, it's dirty. There is hair in the bathroom of the room and the bathtub. Here and there...The indoor bath in the large public bath had a nice temperature. The open-air bath is lukewarm,The water pressure and temperature of the shower is low.I was able to wash my hair because the bathroom wasn't cold.I rented a private open-air bath,It was unbelievably warmEven when hot water is supplied, only lukewarm water comes out.The shower is warmer than the public bath.Take a quick showerBecause it is a semi-open-air bathI have nothing but regrets during the cold season. Is it Nakai-san or the landlady?Something unnecessary was said to meI was like, “Huh?”Dinner and breakfast both start about 10 minutes before the scheduled time. He's rushing me,In the morning, when I returned to my room after breakfast, entered the room without permissionThe futon had been put away.before check outIt was the first time my bedding had been tidied up.I felt a strong sense of coming home.counter, elevatorI was so persistent when I asked for directions to the guest room."No food or drinks allowed to be brought in"It was, butAlcohol and snacks after mealsI want to bring it in, soIf it doesn't work, I'd like you to write about it on your homepage as well.
