Both Booking.com and Agoda have high ratings. You won't find any other dormitory property near the station at this price. However, in this cold weather, there is no hot water in the bathroom or sink. There is no hot water faucet. I think it's clean and well thought out. The capacity is 6 people per room. The wash basin on the 2nd floor does not have electricity. There's no hand soap either. The toilet on the 2nd floor does not have a washlet.I thought it would be nice to have a small kitchen in the room, but I was concerned about the noise when someone was using it.The bath on the 1st floor is basically clean, but it feels extremely cold. The changing room is cold. . . There is no doubt that older people will be affected by the difference in temperature.The bed was fluffy. I was worried that I might not be able to sleep, but it was really warm.

My review is a MUST READ:Firstly just to clear up the other 3 star review I see in this review section. Yes there is no hot water knob on the faucet (no one needs a hot water knob anyways.) ✅ There is absolutely hot water running in the bathroom when I went.The most outstanding Accommodation:This is my experience - came to Kincha on a quiet Thursday night and met the owner. Within the first hour, yes (1hr) he sat with me to plan my route in Nikko and Utsunomiya. He made it a very personalised experience as if I was his family and he was hosting me. The accomodation is a childhood memory to the owner. A fully fleshed out and functional guesthouse. Since it was quiet we began to take a deep dive in gyoza making. Which I was already interested in. 🥟 He went to the extra step of going out to the shops, bought all the ingredients- Made soba all complementary.] I wouldn’t turn up to Kincha expecting food from Kageyama San. However this does reflect quite well how incredibly nice he is.✅ House is warm✅ Amenities✅ Historic House, Made from Oya Stone (Japanese Style.)✅ Close to the station

I highly recommend this place, the owner is extremely kind and does everything to make you feel comfortable.It can be cold at times in some rooms, but there are heaters in all the rooms you just have to turn them on.The owner can help you plan your trip to the area and recommend certain areas and restaurants. In addition, I discussed a lot with him on many different subjects and I invite you to do the same if you can.The language barrier is not a problem, you can use Google translate and the owner speaks a little English.If you are a foreigner and want to see what Japanese hospitality is I highly invite you to spend some time here.
