We will pick you up from the Kintetsu Sakakibara Onsen Exit. Dinner and breakfast have a wide variety of options, and you can eat hot pot (in this case Botan nabe) at your own pace. The hot springs are lukewarm and slightly alkaline, making them slightly melty. Leave them alone for a relaxing solo trip. I think it's good

Hot water is the best.Comparing the food and tasting three types of local sake was also very good. However, I was disappointed that the room I stayed in smelled a little like cigarettes. However, it is a hot spring inn that I would like to come back to stay at again.

Hot springs are very nice in the hot summer. The hot spring source is 31° and the larger one is about 42°, so you won't get hit by the hot water even if you take a slow soak. The meal plan that includes breakfast and dinner is very satisfying. The white rice for dinner is said to be presented to Ise-san, so it's very delicious🍚 It wasAll the staff were very kind and it was an inn that I would like to visit again.

The slippery hot springs are nice. You can enjoy your time in two bathtubs with different temperatures. The room was also clean.

I stayed here three times in November 2020, October 2022, and July 2023.The most important hot spring is the Sakakibarakan next door, which is larger and has an open-air bath, and the quality of the hot spring itself is better. It's on par with Kamiyukan. The room is not bad considering its age, the toilet and sink have automatic electricity, and are very clean. As other reviews have said, the dirty window glass and torn screens are evidence of lack of maintenance. Perhaps because the lighting in the hallways is dim, it feels eerily similar to walking through a haunted house until you go to the underground public bath late at night. There are considerable individual differences in the way staff treat people, and why is it that the level of service is lower for older staff who appear to be veterans than for younger staff?Even if you spend money to make it nicer, it won't increase the number of customers, and I can't help but think that the management is doing something like this. We have the highest quality hot springs anywhere in the country, so first of all, we should improve things that can be done without spending a lot of money, and the manager should take the initiative in cleaning the windows.I think Sakakibara Onsen is the best hot spring in Japan based on the quality of the spring water.
