The accommodation is far away, and when the parking lot is full, you have to park 200 meters away. I had also booked a Japanese-Western room, but it was smaller than the one in the photo and wasn't well-maintained. The food was buffet style, but it was all ordinary and didn't taste good. The sound of walking in the hallway echoed throughout the room until late at night, making it difficult to sleep. I've been to a lot of places, but this was by far the worst. I don't think I'll go there again.

I arrived at the hotel in time for check-in at 3pm. The check-in counter doesn't seem to be crowded yet. The staff at the counter also made a good impression. When you enter the room, you can't deny that it's old, but the important parts have been renovated. Above all, I was surprised by the size of the room. A 10 tatami Japanese-style room with a space of about 6 tatami chairs and a table. The view is wonderful. There are windows on two sides of the room, offering a panoramic view of Toba Bay. However, the layout is a little sacrificed, but once you get used to it, it's not a problem. It would have been nice to have a place to store my luggage and a place to hang my clothes. Also, as is common in older facilities, there are not many electrical outlets, which is inconvenient. I would like an extension cord. Wi-Fi worked without problems. After spending some time looking at the ocean, we headed to the hot springs. I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor, but the public bath was on the B5th floor (not in the basement, but on the lowest ground floor). There is only one elevator that goes from the top floor to the B5th floor, near the front desk, so it gets crowded. However, there was another elevator near the room where I stayed, and this one led to the B1 floor. I see, I realized that I could use this to skip the crowded 1st floor and transfer on the B1 floor. There are two indoor baths and one outdoor bath. There is also a sauna and a cold bath. The hot water is said to be from Sakakibara Onsen, but it didn't feel that smooth, so I think they probably added water. You can see Dolphin Island clearly from the open-air bath. The good thing about the baths here is that they can be used 24 hours a day, excluding cleaning time. I went in late at night, but I'm glad I was able to fully enjoy the extraordinary experience as it was reserved for private use.The dining room is on the B1 floor. You can go directly to the guest room elevator from earlier. Since it's a buffet, there isn't much food. However, I am thankful that there are not only table seats but also counter seats, although they are few in number. If you're alone, this is more comfortable.I stayed there on October 8th. At night, I heard a loud noise, so I opened the curtains and saw fireworks. I had completely forgotten, but this day was Toba Day. I wasn't expecting to see fireworks, so it was a surprise. While watching the fireworks, I thought that Japan is a truly peaceful country. If they were in a different country, they would be surprised that an attack had started.Overall, I'm glad I was able to spend a relaxing and quiet time. Now that I think about it, I remember the hotel I stayed at before. It was a hotel that emphasized ``hospitality,'' but there were many staff members who were there to answer any questions you had, but I remember feeling uneasy for some reason. I think that's an important thing, but I also feel that watching over them from the shadows is also hospitality.Even if you are in the position of a customer and a staff member, a sense of distance between them can actually make you feel more comfortable.

The room was large and had an ocean view.It was a room with an open-air bath.It can't be helped because it's outside, but there were a lot of spiders on the wall. There were spider webs and insects in the room, but there were insect repellent items near the front desk. If you are interested, you may want to try it out. (freezing type)All the food was delicious, but some of the food was cold, probably because the temperature was not controlled. There was also a pool, and I enjoyed it more than my 0-year-old daughter. The large bath is Sakakibara OnsenThere's also a sauna, so it's not that hot, so people who like hot food might find it a bit unsatisfying, but it felt good. The elevator was an inconvenience. The public bath is on the 5th basement floor, but I felt it was inconvenient because there are elevators that go to the 5th floor and elevators that don't.Everything else was very satisfying.I would like to stay again next year.thank you very much.

The room was large. The view from the room was also good. The room had an open-air bath, but there were a lot of seabirds and pigeons, so I wouldn't recommend it for people who don't like birds. The public bath was beautiful. There were not many lockers with keys. All dishes were averagely delicious.Although the number of desserts was small, the pudding was extremely delicious. There is a hot spring on the 5th basement floor, and there is a lot of vertical movement. The wait time for the elevator was long.It may not be suitable for people who have difficulty using stairs.

Although the building seems old, the rooms and baths have been renovated and are comfortable. There's a pool, sauna, and cold bath, so you'll have everything you need. In particular, the large public bath, Sakakibara Onsen, has good spring quality and is very pleasant. No complaints about both dinner and breakfast. If I have a complaint, it's that the temperature control of the food is poor. However, there is no doubt that it is a seaside resort hotel with good cost performance.
