I had made a reservation online two months in advance, but when I tried to check in, I was told that my reservation had already been canceled and someone else had booked it, so I couldn't stay, so I went home. I did. I felt very sad even though it was a family camp.It was a shame because I use it almost every year and I really like it.

【postscript】I used it at the end of July 2024, and there were a lot of ground bees around the 2nd campsite and 2nd plaza site.It seems like they are taking measures, but they are not working...Since it was a weekday and there were not many customers, we were advised to use a different site than the one used for reservations. Also, I guess it can't be helped because it's summer, but there are a lot of horseflies that stick to cars. Please be careful if you have children.By the way, the toilet is Japanese style.−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−Reservations can be made online. You can camp for free, and firewood is also free.Although it is not an auto camp, you can park nearby when loading and unloading your luggage on the lawn, and the parking lot after setting up the tent is close, or rather right in front of you. convenience.I could hardly connect to my cell phone at the tent site on the lawn, but I could connect around the administration building and at the entrance to the citizen's forest.Unfortunately, it's only open on Saturdays except in the summer. It's a good campsite, so I wanted to stay there for several nights.

We were allowed to use the campsite. If you reserve in advance, there is no usage fee, and you can use as much hardwood firewood as you want! The environment is extremely nice, but on the day I went there were so many flies that people and things turned black. If you get distracted by that, you'll also get bitten by a gnat. The toilet is full of insects and has a Japanese-style flush system, so it's difficult to bring my wife and child there. The environment is nice, so I wonder if they could pay for a flush toilet.

Not available without reservation.Reservations can be made from 2 months in advance on the Numazu City website. The only negative point is that the toilet is Japanese style. However, it is well cleaned. You can see Oku-Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji from the observation deck, which can be reached in 15 minutes. The recommended site is the second square on the spacious grassland. If you like the wild feel of the forest, visit site 29.30!Best of all, the fact that it is free of charge is a big help.I didn't use it this time, but the firewood for the bonfire is also free!!

It was my first solo this year. The cherry tree in the second square was in full bloom and beautiful. The cherry blossoms in the mountains were also beautiful.

Advance application requiredUsually available only on Saturdays and SundaysYou can use as much firewood as you need for free.Climb a narrow path with a fairly steep slopeThere are divisions, but the boundaries are not clear.Although there is a width limit, I felt that I could pitch a fairly long tent if I pitched it vertically.Although the water in the venue is not drinkable, I cooked rice as usual. If you are concerned, please bring your own.

The great thing about it is that you can camp for free, but unfortunately it is only available on Saturdays except during summer vacation.

- a lots of bug- Japanese toilet- no shower space- Free space- Free tent- Free fire wood- Great service- no viewI wanted to share my recent camping experience with you, as I believe it's essential to be aware of places that may not provide a positive outdoor adventure.Unfortunately, my experience there was far from pleasant. The campsite lacked proper maintenance and cleanliness, making it challenging to enjoy the natural surroundings.Anyway, it was a great experience.

I just stopped by, so I can't say for sure, but it seems like it's a facility for outdoor activity education...The walking path gives me a disappointing impression.I think I'll give it a try if I have the appropriate equipment.
