I used it for climbing Mt. Tsurugidake. It's a very isolated place, but it's comfortable. You can take a shower with hot water until 5pm. There are Japanese-style toilets, but I was impressed by the fact that they flush and have no odor at all.We also provide bed sheets, so you don't need an inner sheet.Cell phone reception was au, but it was pretty tough. I used the mountain hut Wi-Fi, but you need to set it up in advance, so it's better to use it somewhere with a signal. The food is delicious, and like other mountain huts, you can get as many refills of rice and miso soup as you like if you don't leave any leftovers.

There’s a special place in heaven for mountain huts hours from the nearest trailhead, yet coming with unlimited hot showers, flush toilets, and a big delicious hamburg steak for dinner. The dorms are partitioned with thick plastic tarp, so on lower occupancy days, each guest basically gets a little “pod” all to themselves. And regardless, the mattresses are nice and wide, so you get plenty of space. Honestly, facilities wise, they compete more closely with the huts nearer to Tateyama station than other remote mountain huts. Will return to climb Mt Tsurugi in better weather 🥲.

In a five-star mountain house, there is a cold shower every day, you can charge before turning off the lights, there is water in the dining room, and there are many mountaineering magazines to read. We returned to the mountain house late after climbing Jianyue Mountain. The store was willing to keep dinner for half an hour, which was great.
