Oshinoko collaboration stamp rally venue. It's about a 10 minute walk from the station, but it's tough as it's up a hill and requires a U-turn along the way.

There is a pool, and you can easily rent floats and underwater glasses for free, as well as a hot spring and an open-air bath.I was very satisfied. There were some souvenirs to win at the gacha gacha, so I wasn't planning on buying any souvenirs, but it was so much fun that I ended up doing it multiple times! Thanks to this, I was able to discover new flavors for souvenirs, and I felt that this system was the best.

Very very good with kids. From playing areas to diaper changing and toys for the onsen they thought of everything. They also offer free shuttle service down and up from town. Otherwise it is quiet a steep road to climb.

It was located deep in the mountains, far from the hot spring town, and it was difficult to walk.I went there because it was the location for Oshinoko's stamp rally, but when I arrived exhausted, the stamp stand was outside the hotel. When I tried to go in to see the souvenirs inside, they wouldn't even let me in.The staff member at the entrance was friendly and told the guests to go home, but when dealing with the other people at the stamp rally, he had a very bad look on his face, as if he was a nuisance.

Motoyu epitomises the authentic Japanese ryokan experience and incorporating this with the same experience for kids as well. Once you check in you can choose your own Yukata from a room for you to wear throughout the venue or even walk around the Arima town. There is a dedicated place area at the lobby, there’s a seperate indoor pool area and not to forget the onsen open bath with a mountain view. Stunning and serene with the sounds of the flowing water and warmth of the onsen water, there is a strong sulphur but not overpowering. Our room had tatami mats, a TV, powder area, fridge and in room bath/toilet. You can also book your own private bath for a fee or go communal for free. The kaiseki is top notch, the toro was extremely fresh and all the ingredients is quintessential Japan. All the food is brought to your room including drinks without you having to lift a finger.Their breakfast is filled with fresh ingredients and a good mixture of western and Japanese items.Motoyu is situated at the top of a hill and hiking here with luggage is not recommended but doable. Try to arrange a pick up instead.Highly recommend if you have kids.

I went with my family (2 year old) and my sister-in-law and her husband. Are the waiters also childcare workers? I was so moved by the welcome the children received. I stayed in a suite, so it was quite expensive, but I was able to enjoy various baths, including an open-air bath in the room, a large indoor bath, and a large open-air bath, and the food was also good. I would like to come every year if I had the money.

There was a cypress bath in the room, and the open-air bath, Kinsen, was one of Arima's famous hot springs, and there were various features from a child's perspective, so both parents and their 4-year-old child were very satisfied.

The hotel feels a bit different from the photos. It's a very historical restaurant. I had a full dinner. The breakfast was not buffet style. The clerk tried very hard to talk to me in Japanese English, and I tried my best to listen. Thank you everyone for your hard work!

Stayed here for 2 nights. As an Onsen Musume fan, I was not disappointed with the plan. Little details like the chopsticks holder being OM themed is great. The room itself was also great and I didn't have any issues. WiFi was good. Outlet had an extension cord attached which was a nice touch.Service was excellent. After check-in I was guided to my OM-themed room and was made tea. My plan included dining in my own room and it was a nice experience. The Kobe beef shabu-shabu and sukiyaki was some of the most delicious food I've ever eaten.Location-wise it's on a rather steep hill but they offer a free shuttle service if you need it. I walked most of the time 😂I'd love to stay here again in the future.
