Hotel surrounded by vegetable gardens. This hotel should be nice with views of the mountains and plantations, unfortunately the building is not well maintained. For restaurant services, there is not much variety of food and the taste of the food is nothing special.

I stayed at the Tangko Resort for 5 nights. Thanks to Tangko, everything ultimately worked out so well — absolutely satisfying! Right off the bat, my Jakarta flight was delayed 9 hours, so that I arrived at the Resort at 2:15am (!) instead of dinner time as originally planned. Nevertheless, the airport pick-up was flawless; the driver was prominently front-and-center at the airport exit, holding a sign with my name on it. Tangko even sent me a photo of the driver with the sign so that I could recognize him. Despite arriving at the Resort in the middle of the night, the front desk attendant was ready to speed me through check-in and walked me to my room. As I had advised Tangko that on the plane, I’d lost my wall plug adapter to charge my phone, a replacement was waiting for me at the front desk — amazing! Indeed, the entire staff was so friendly and helpful during my stay (and I let them know that). Particularly helpful to me is that the staff caters to birdwatchers’ needs. As I wanted to get to the nearby national park before dawn most mornings, Tangko organized everything including recommending birding guides, arranging pre-dawn transport and the return in the evening, and preparing packed breakfast/lunch to take with me for the day’s hiking. The arrangements were impeccably done! Regarding dining, the rooftop hotel restaurant has delicious food at reasonable prices, and again, the restaurant staff were so incredibly attentive — kudos to the chef! The hotel grounds were peaceful, in contrast to the bustle of both the road to the park & botanical garden and the main road a few kilometers below, which made for relaxing evenings and restful nights at the Resort. Though it would have been nice to be within walking distance from the national park, the relative peace & quiet was an appreciated trade-off.Highest regards for the level of service.Highly recommend to all, especially birders!

The hotel with the best view I have ever visited, the mattresses and rooms are clean, there is no air conditioning because the air here is very cold hihihi, the staff are friendly, especially the receptionist is very kind when welcoming visitors. The breakfast is also delicious, the portions are large, suitable for Indonesian stomachs😀The view in the morning is very cool because you can immediately see the mountain and the view is very good, continued success for the crew and owner of Tangko Resort Cipanas, hopefully it will progress and be successful😇 God willing, we will stay here again if we have another opportunity.

On May 23 2024, try ordering via the application, when you arrive at the hotel location. It turns out the hotel is no longer operating...!!Very uncomfortable experience. Surprisingly, there was no one on guard and no announcement was written regarding the non-operation of the hotel.

To be honest, this place is really nice. I arrived at dusk early on and was a bit afraid because only my husband and I were staying, but it turned out that when I was in the room, etc. the ambience was like being at home. I really liked the service, I can imagine even though the customers were only nice to me, but they were really good at providing breakfast HIHI SUKAKKKK wait for me I want to come back and stay here again hihi🩷 thank you teteh and uncle tangkoo I hope we can meet again

I'll review if it's really good or really bad. Review for Tangko Resort, I tried to review objectively.Excess+ The view out the room window is good (Deluxe Family type on the 2nd floor in the same building as the lobby).+ Relaxing sound in the room (not that important).+ Clean mattress.+ Friendly waiters.+ View at the restaurant is nice.Lack:- When checking in, guests are asked to fill in their own data, write it manually on paper. Solution: photocopy your KTP or the staff fills it in.- The condition of the rooms is outdated, there are lots of stains on the roof and sawang. Solution: repaint.- The balcony is shared with the next room, so it is very noisy from guests from the next room who are on the balcony. Solution: provide semi-permanent partitions or rattan cots.- There is no AC, even though the air is cold there, it would be better if there is no AC, there should be information. Solution: update the information that there is no AC.- The room telephone is off (on the grounds that it was disconnected from the center because of the rain, this doesn't make sense), so if you want to call house keeping or order food from outside the room. Solution: repair or replace the phone if it is damaged, don't reason beyond reason.- The LPG gas water heater whose hose is connected to the central via a hose, the gas runs out or turns off at night. I couldn't contact house keeping by telephone because the telephone in the room was off, while I was taking a shower. Solution: actually this is conditional, it doesn't matter if the telephone in the room can be used.- The tap for the switch to the shower was dislodged (missing/not there). Solution: replace with new one.- The water in the sink tends to clog. Solution: maintenance and checking water channels regularly.- The price of food in the restaurant is quite expensive (not including 20% tax) with an ordinary taste. Not worth it. Solution: write a price that includes tax, this is already expensive and doesn't include tax.- I ordered medicine at the pharmacy via Gojek, but the Gojek was held up by the security guard and was not allowed to deliver it to the front of the lobby. So I had to walk to the security post in front of the gate. Solution: provide Gojek access to deliver orders to the front of the lobby, no need to enter the lobby, just go to the front.- The variety of food at breakfast at the buffet is small and runs out quickly without being refilled. Solution: increase the variety of food and refill immediately if the food runs out at breakfast time.- Many menus in restaurants are not ready. Solution: if the ingredients are difficult, it's better not to write them down or add cold storage to store the food.- Many staff have very strong body odor, both at night and in the morning. Solution: it would be a good idea for all staff to wear deodorant or add perfume to smell good. This is important! Moreover, the staff with body odor are in front positions: the receptionist in the lobby at check-in and the cashier/reception staff at the restaurant.The location is not strategic, it is in a narrow and steep residential area, far from everywhere. It would be nice for the resort to provide a minimarket that sells standard travel needs or empower local residents.Conclusion:From the overall room, experience, etc. for that price compared to other resorts in Puncak, it's not worth it (not comparable).Hopefully my review will be read as evaluation material so that Tangko Resort can be better in the future.

Very happy to be able to stay at Tangko Resort. The service is good, the rooms are clean, the view is good, and the breakfast menu is varied. Maybe it could be better if there was a prayer place for guests who check in early. In my room the hot shower was warm at the start, but after that it kept getting cold😅 Thank you Tangko Resort
