I used it for a stay in August. Even though it was a midsummer day, only the room had an air conditioner. I was surprised that there was no air conditioner in the hallway. I don't know if it's because they don't have the facilities or because they're trying to save money, but the windows were wide open so insects came in, it was hot, and it was just uncomfortable. It's a dog-friendly inn, but as soon as you enter through the entrance, you won't be able to enter unless you hold them. Dogs are only allowed in the room and outside at the dog run.The room was spacious and had the feel of an old-fashioned inn, with a nice view of the ocean, but there was no Wi-Fi or a small, old TV with no terrestrial digital TV. It's an empty place, so if I didn't have my smartphone and computer, I'd have a lot of time to spare. The only good points were the friendly customer service that is typical of a family-run business and the fact that we were able to use the outside dog park.

I stayed with my son and miniature dachshund for two nights. We could see the ocean from our room, and the national park from the hallway, which was a spectacular view. For dinner, we went to Poseidon, a restaurant run by affiliated Ama divers. The seafood was melt-in-your-mouth fresh. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with seafood and eggs from free-range chickens. On the second night, we had abalone sashimi, which melted in the mouth and was so delicious that my son and I both enjoyed it. I rolled my eyes. Seafood is really delicious when you're close to the sea. There is a dog run here with a view of the ocean, where you can let your dog run freely at any time. It's a spectacular view. The room was spacious and the hot springs were pleasant. We are doing protection dog activities here and Poseidon. The rescued children seemed to be very loved and happy. I would like to take care of you again! thank you.

This inn has a cancellation policy where cancellation fees apply from 31 days in advance.(A cancellation fee was incurred for reservations made 9 hours after application and 15 days before arrival.)After making the reservation, I had to cancel it immediately due to a medical issue, and although I informed them of the situation, I was charged a cancellation fee.Due to unavoidable circumstances, I had to cancel, and I am very disappointed. However, I'm glad I canceled.Looking at the reviews, this ryokan is pretty awesome😅There are many reviews that show that the inn is not good for money.(Compensation for dog misbehavior is written everywhere, bathing tax is higher than usual, etc.)Also, I was aware of this and applied from the beginning, but you will be charged a 4,400 yen lodging fee for your dog and a 1,000 yen dog donation fee.I applied without worrying about it at first because it was the only place I could find it, but what is dog donation? I'm feeling. If you write "donation," you should write which organization you are donating to.I'd like to think that they're not soliciting donations for the inn that welcomes dogs even though they're paying for the dog's lodging, but the current response shows that the company is run by someone with a very mean personality. That's what I thought.I realized once again that even if I feel better, I should definitely not go here.On the contrary, I was glad that I had to cancel. When I went there, I felt even worse.Be wary of accommodations that have a cancellation policy of 31 days in advance and that have a large number of reviews!

At the end of the year, I used it with my family of 4 and a pet (dog). Even though we arrived very late, the landlady (very friendly!) arranged for us to eat (there is another very nice restaurant nearby where you can eat fresh seafood). Thank you very much for doing that. The next morning, we were able to play in the dog run attached to the facility while looking out at the beautiful ocean. It was a short stay of one night and two days, but I would definitely like to use it again. thank you very much.

I have stayed at various inns that allow dogs, but this is the first time I've been as disappointed as this one.First of all, there was a steep cliff-like slope from the entrance, and there were many scratch marks on the bottom of the car, and to get to the parking lot, we had to go further down the cliff to a place where there was no light. By the time I checked in, it was pitch dark and I couldn't see anything, so I was anxious from the beginning.-facility-The homepage states that dogs are welcome, but dogs are usually held outside of the room, and of course I was holding them at the entrance, but when I dropped them off only when I was dropping off my luggage (before I went up to the entrance), I was able to pick them up right away. I was asked to hold the dog and enter. If that was the case, they should have helped carry the luggage instead of just watching, or if the facility was that sensitive, they shouldn't have allowed dogs.I felt really bad. Also, the floor and walls (torn) of the facility aren't clean enough to warrant that much attention. Also, the shower in the bathroom in the room cannot be used because there is no hot water.-meal-This was the most disappointing or unbelievable part. When I made the reservation, I chose a plan that included in-room meals and breakfast for dinner, which was limited to one group, but dinner was moved to a separate room. That's not called in-room dining. The room itself was terrible, as it felt like a table had been forced into a banquet hall. The food was also so good that I wondered if it was different from the photo. Of course, the taste is not at a level that can be evaluated.Even during breakfast, the table in front of us was left in a mess with leftover food, and we didn't know why they didn't clean it up right away, but it remained like that until we finished eating. Why do I have to eat while looking at such a dirty table? If you misbehave in a dog-friendly room, you will be fined, you will have to prepare your own futon to sleep in, you will be charged an additional fee if you use more than necessary, you will be charged for the second towel, there is a mysterious dog donation fee in the billed amount column, etc. I can't say enough...I'm really sorry that the amount of money I paid for this time was not commensurate with the response at all...I'm really shocked that my memories of Toba remain in such a bad way.

The staff's response was very warm and I was glad that I felt warmly welcomed as well. The landlady also seemed to really love dogs, and watching them made me feel warm. The view was close to the sea and the air was great.Although I came from a far away place, it was an inn that I would definitely like to visit again.

🙇‍♂️Please read to the end before making a reservation.✨Good points1. The good points are the spectacular view of the sea, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the quality of the natural hot springs.2. I myself have a wheat allergy and used the no-meal plan, so when I tried to eat dinner outside, it took a while to find a place to eat [I originally had a late plan] but I was late to check in. . At this time, I had called them in advance, but I am glad that they responded promptly.✨Points you would like to improve1. (Although I checked in late due to food allergies.) I had planned to leave at 9 a.m., and as it was just a little past that time, the number of calls to remind me was a little reduced, even though it was a rule. I was also working hard to prepare so as not to be late...2. The dog's lodging fee is 5,400 yen (excluding tax) including the room fee and donations for animal welfare, which is too expensive even though we don't even provide food. 👹3. Not being able to use the outdoor dog run even a little after check-out was a disappointing response for a tourist hotel and a hotel where you can stay with your dog.[PS]👹🌠Even though I was singing that I could stay with my dog, the information posted in the room did not. It is very unfortunate that the letter stated, ``If we find out anything wrong with it later, we will seek compensation.'' The excessive guidance could also be interpreted as an act of intimidation. It's unpleasant!! ️I can no longer stay in peace 😅.✨SummaryIf it's just a human, it's possible to stay overnight, but if it's a dog...

I was charged about 6,000 yen in cash for one dog. There are no notes on the reservation site, and the landlady is very particular about what is written in the terms of service. There was a threatening note written in the room saying that I would have to pay compensation for misbehaving with my dog, so I will never come again.
