June 2024We rented out one building in the pension.Since the manager is not permanently resident, we will meet you on site at the check-in time that you have notified in advance.(At that time, we will ask you to explain the equipment and precautions, and we will settle the payment in advance (cash).)You can use any room you like, either on the 1st or 2nd floor. However, if you use more bedding than the number of people reserved, an additional fee will be charged. If a small child dives into an unused futon and makes a mess, you may be charged an additional fee, so be careful.)The pension has a kitchen with a full-fledged gas stove, a large refrigerator/freezer similar to those used in restaurants, and a dishwasher. I don't think it's very likely that you won't be able to fit everything in, so it's a good idea to buy food and drinks in advance at the supermarket in front of Nikko Station before moving to your accommodation.〇Good points・Although the building seems to be old, it seems to be well-maintained. You can enjoy your stay without worrying about the owner or other guests.・Cleaning up is very easy as you can wash the dishes in the dishwasher in the kitchen next door while everyone is eating.・There is garbage separation, but it's really easy because it's bottles, cans, plastic bottles, and everything else (burnable garbage).〇 Points of concern・There is a meeting using wooden boards from the parking lot entrance to the pension, and each step is high in some places, so it is not possible to carry suitcases etc. If you are a person with mobility issues, please be careful as it can be difficult.・Outdoor baths allow you to easily see the neighbors. We recommend staying with friends who have common sense. Additionally, electric lights attract insects at night, so if you don't like insects, we recommend taking an indoor bath.

I rented it with a friend last summer.It was my first time renting a pension and it was really fun.The interior is showing its age, so some people may be concerned about it.

2022.8.26~27 stayAt the time I stayed, due to the coronavirus, the entire pension was reserved for one group (no meals).Since the manager is not always on-site, you must adhere to the check-in time announced in advance. Upon arrival, the manager will explain how to unlock the front door and explain various precautions. At this time, you will need to pay the bathing tax in cash. There are many rooms that you can use freely, but you can only use the bedding for the number of people. If you use more than the number of people, you will need to pay an additional fee. The open-air bath is located outside the pension and can be used at any time. Although the building is not new, it is well kept. There is a commercial refrigerator and freezer in the kitchen that you can use. Tableware is also provided. There are no restaurants within a few minutes walk from the pension, so if you plan to eat dinner outside, it would be best to look for a restaurant in advance. Also, we had to climb the stairs from the parking lot to the pension, but there were no street lights and it was pitch black at night. Therefore, it is better to take the flashlight provided at the front desk when going out. We ate outside, but I think it would be fun to bring your own food and have a party. Most importantly, I was able to stay in one group without worrying about other guests.

It was one night and two days, but thank you for your help!I'm so touched that my daughter had a small celebration for her birthday!It's snowing and the morning is a silver world \(//∇//)\It was my children's first time at a pension, and I think it was great that they were able to experience the atmosphere unlike a traditional inn.I was able to borrow PS2 and watch DVDs, so I had a relaxing time with my family.There was a playroom, but it was for young children.I think it's a little different for people who have elementary school students.There were about 10 rooms and they were all occupied.It had good reviews and we were able to stay there for 2 adults and 3 children at a reasonable price, so I would like to use it again.
