I believe that you who clicked on this hotel have heard more or less about the concept and charm of this hotel, right? Don’t hesitate, come and stay for one night to experience it~~ Although the room price is really expensive for a solo traveler🥹, I hope you can relax and calm down in this space.Craft Inn hand[té] integrates "traditional crafts such as tea, Kurume-style 絣 (ㄅㄥ), lanterns (paper shade lamps), glass (glass), bamboo weaving and other traditional crafts" from Yame locality and surrounding areas into the house, allowing travelers to enjoy " Food, clothing, housing, utensils and bathing" personally feel the "touch temperature" of Yame. If you have heard of MUJI House, MUJI Hotel, you will definitely know what I am talking about~I stayed briefly in Yame for one night. I didn’t plan any itinerary. Instead, I spent some time in the house observing every corner full of thoughtful arrangements, opening up the five senses that had been dulled for a long time, and opening up my mind that was once susceptible to “stories” and The "experience" moved me back. Before leaving, I walked along the old streets like a treasure hunt and bought Yame Gyokuro tea, Kurume-style pajamas, Saga glasses, and the must-have water turtles for winter from several shops selling handicrafts. I hope to use these items every time. I can think of the pleasant and slow time in the small town of Yame. The Craft Inn handicraft [té] is just one of UNA Labs' projects. They also promote traditional handicraft workshops with merchants. If I have more time, I really hope to play more in-depth.Although it took three buses from Fukuoka Airport to get there, it was totally worth the special trip!

Absolutely charming little ryokan that we occupied for 2 nights (bamboo room). Sort of a Japanese-style boutique hotel. |Comfortable futons. No curtain for darkness as often. …

Had a wonderful first-time stay in Yame at the Craft Inn 手 (Indigo room). Everything about the stay from the delicious Yame welcome tea and breakfast to all the furnishings that highlighted the indigo work of local craftsmen was lovely. I’ve stayed in various ryokans around Japan, but this place is certainly special in how traditional Japanese crafts and culture can be enjoyed in a such an intimate way.The inn is a renovated traditional Japanese style building that is spacious and comfortable. (Stairs do separate the sleeping room and bathroom however). The walls were a little on the thin side but the streets of Yame were relatively quiet so it was not a problem. I also enjoyed the provided night clothes and different reading materials available during the stay.Overall a great place to connect with crafts in a beautiful room. I hope to experience staying in the other Craft Inn 手 rooms next time I’m in Yame!

I stayed in a Japanese paper room. Perhaps it was a renovated storehouse, and it has a stylish structure with distinctive earthen walls. It is a luxurious space where you can feel the attention to detail in everything in the room. They carry carefully selected products such as pajama monpe, rattan changing baskets, bamboo toothbrushes, and bath goods, so you'll definitely want them. The books in the living room are all interesting, so you won't get bored.I was looking forward to breakfast in a tub, but now it's delivered to my room in a Wappa bento box. Too bad 😢 (This is great though!)

A very nice old folk house.Everything from the clean and clean interior to the accessories and nightwear feels like a lot of attention to detail. The hospitality was not like at a ryokan, where people come and go over and over again, and the sense of distance was very comfortable.I was also happy that breakfast was included, and the contents were very nice. All seasonings and ingredients are additive-free, organic, and local. It was really delicious and made me feel at ease.I'm very happy to be able to enjoy this type of food at my inn.The Yamecha green tea and hojicha prepared in the refrigerator were also very delicious.I don't think there are many places like this.
