It is located in a slightly inconvenient location at the back of Honmyoji Temple. That's why it's so hard to search. The eating area is clean and the service is good. The meals are mainly handmade soba noodles, tempura, and small bowls, so I guess you could call it Japanese-style kaiseki. Nankan Age's rice balls are very delicious.

I had soba noodles and tempura. Even though it's only 10%, it was kneaded with such great effort! It looks good at first glance, but it doesn't have the grinding feel of a stone mill, and is as smooth as if it had been crushed with a roll. If you mix a few different types together to give it a slightly more grainy texture, you might be able to bring out the flavor a little more. Is the oil temperature low for tempura?

A 130-year-old inn. There are 3 guest rooms on the 2nd floor, and the middle room is not used and can accommodate only 2 groups. Down the steep stairs, the first floor is the toilet and washroom, and the semi-basement is the bathroom. The water area has been renovated and is stress-free. The entrance of the building is a soba restaurant and breakfast venue. Breakfast is home-cooked using natural ingredients and is healthy and tastes great. The landlady is also very attentive and considerate. There are buses from Honmyoji-mae bus stop to Sakuramachi Bus Center, but they are infrequent and up a fairly steep slope, so if you don't have a private car, a taxi is the best option. The taxi fare from the city center is just under 2,000 yen, but considering the deliciousness of the breakfast, I can recommend it more than Bijiho. The only drawback is that the towels are tired and smelly. I want to make this my regular lodging in Kumamoto in the future.

I visited a soba restaurant. I was greeted by a very pleasant young male clerk, and the atmosphere in the store and the surroundings were excellent. I received a meal. The 3 types of small bowls were extremely elaborate and delicious. But what is this? I don't know what it is, but it's delicious! (lol) I ate it while saying that, so it would be nice if there was an explanation. There's also tempura, so it's quite filling! It may be a little too much for women. I wonder if it's okay without tempura for women. The soba noodles are delicious and even the soba soup is delicious! ! The best soba restaurant in history. I would like to visit you again!

This is my new favorite soba restaurant. It's delicious, and the staff at the restaurant have very good customer service and service! Maybe it was because I had just been there a week ago, but I was so happy that I had the discretion to change the salad contents. I'll be going again!😄
