I was born and raised in Setouchi, so I must have eaten a lot of delicious sashimi, but I think the sashimi at Karakotoso is the best I've ever had, both in terms of the quality of each piece of fish and the variety of sashimi. Masu.The rooms and bathrooms are well-maintained, and I'm sure you'll have a pleasant stay!

It's very good. 5 minutes by ferry to Maejima. It is a few minutes' drive from the port. The room and garden are very beautiful, and the bath is small and beautiful. My foreign friends wear yukata and get excited, and their meals are local, such as boiled fish and sashimi. Lately, there are many things that are so expensive that I can't eat them. I'm a local, so the unsweetened boiled fish tastes like my grandmother's and is very nostalgic, and the cost performance is also good.

I stayed with my family of 3 including my husband and 2 year old child.Although there were some concerns (children's tableware not being served at the time of the meal, forgetting to put out cushions when we arrived at the room, and being served food without explanation of the food), Other than that, I had a good time. Everything was quiet and the room had a view of the sea. I could barely hear anything other than my family's voices while sleeping or eating, and there was a TV in the dining room, so it felt like I was able to spend my normal life eating special meals. Also, the seafood was very delicious as it was private and I didn't meet other customers.

I had stayed there before and the food was delicious and the people were friendly, so I went back for the first time in a while. I thought he probably didn't remember, but when I told him, ``I've been here before,'' he responded, ``I see, please don't bring alcohol.'' "was. I was told not to drink the alcohol I bought as a souvenir here. I don't drink though.I don't even remember staying there before, and the words that were spoken to me were like these, and all my good memories disappeared at once, and I was disappointed.I wish I hadn't left it as a good memory.

It was my first time going there, but it was an inn that I would definitely like to visit again next time.The facilities are better than a guesthouse. The bath is also large enough for four adult men to take a bath.The cleaning is thorough and it is kept neat.The staff are also polite and make you feel safe.The surrounding area is an island, so to be honest, we don't have the conveniences of a big city.Naturally, there are no convenience stores and there are few vending machines, so some people who are used to modern city life may find it inconvenient.The room has a toilet, sink, and refrigerator.If you need a lot of alcoholic beverages, it may be better cost-effective to purchase them in advance.Even discounting these inconveniences, what makes me want to come back is the quality of the food.Rather than looking fancy, the fish dishes made with plenty of seasonal local ingredients are the best.Three adults can eat until they are full, including sashimi, boiled dishes, grilled dishes, and fried dishes.The food is served in a timely manner, so you can enjoy warm, freshly prepared food at your own pace in your private room.It is a Japanese-style room with a chair type, so it is suitable for people with disabilities and the elderly.This time it was early spring, so it was supposed to be oyster season, but some of my companions didn't like oysters, so I told them in advance and they refrained from eating oysters.If you requested a mackerel dish instead, especially mackerel sashimi, they would prepare fresh, live mackerel for you.The fatty mackerel sashimi was exquisite.This is an inn that provides services that can't be found in large hotels, so I think it's the perfect inn for those who don't want a flashy look.Maejima, about 5 minutes by car ferry from Ushimado PortI think this is a suitable inn to enjoy the travel atmosphere of Setouchi.While writing this post, I am getting hungry again (lol)
