Thank you for taking care of my family of 8.The building and interior feel old, but it was nice and tasteful. There is no Nakai-san to guide you, so you listen to the explanation of the facility at the front desk and move to your room by yourself. There are free drinks so you can enjoy tea without hesitation. It was more comfortable and convenient for us.All of the food tasted good, and both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and satisfying. All the employees were kind as well. What I was concerned about was the cleaning aspect. The room had been rehomed and was clean. There were cigarette butts in the ashtray above the shoe rack, and the fan in the public bath was covered in dust.I wanted to use it after taking a bath, but I decided not to.Barrier-free is also a concern...There are about five stairs near the dining hall. There were no handrails, so I thought it would be difficult for elderly people with limited mobility or people in wheelchairs.I don't care about the room or facilities.I think this is a recommended inn for those who want to eat delicious food.

It's a pity that the cleaning was not done properly. When I opened the dresser in my room, I was surprised to see how much dust had accumulated. There were bugs in the important bath, so I couldn't relax.I don't think it's worth the price. It's a shame because the staff's response was good.

Stayed here on weekdays while sightseeing in Fukui Prefecture. Booked a non-smoking room with no meals plan. It was a long journey from the front desk to the room, and along the way there was a banquet hall and a rest room with a view of the garden, and the building had the atmosphere of an old-fashioned inn. It was refreshing to spend the evening idly on the veranda. Located close to the elevator and public bath. In front of the public bath, there is one massage chair and two foot massage machines that can be used free of charge. When I used the public bath, there were no other guests, so I was able to relax and enjoy the public bath and open-air bath by myself. Convenience is not bad as there are pharmacies and supermarkets within easy driving distance. For dining, there are many restaurants on the north side of Awara Yunomachi Station, the closest station, so you can find your favorite restaurant.

Awara City, Fukui PrefectureAwara OnsenI stayed here a few years ago.The parking lot is right next door, and you can see a pretty nice gate surrounded by greenery. The garden that was kept beautiful right up to the entrance was very nice. The building itself is old and I feel like it was once a luxury inn during the heyday of the bubble economy.Although there are some damages here and there, it doesn't feel particularly unpleasant and has a calm atmosphere. It feels like a good old building.Customer service is very polite.I was very impressed by the beautiful wisteria flowers blooming from the large lobby overlooking the Japanese garden. The inside of the building was a bit dimly lit and quite spacious, so I thought I might get lost if I didn't remember it well.I think it depends on the time of year, but the hot springs are almost reserved for private use no matter when you go!What a luxury to have a hot spring all to yourself! It was great to be able to relax and stretch my arms and legs without worrying about anyone else. It's getting old in many ways.Whether you consider that to be a matter of taste or not depends on each person. The meal plan was only for breakfast, but there were many items from the morning and it was very delicious. Also, the fact that this inn was close to Tojinbo was great in terms of access!

It was a pure Japanese-style hot spring inn. The well-kept road from the parking lot to the entrance and the large courtyard can be seen from our room! The bath seems to be good for wounds, and my scratches healed instantly. The quality of the spring water was good and my body was warm. The open-air bath was tightly enclosed and felt like an open-air bath with a room attached. The dinner sashimi, tempura, beef dice teppanyaki (fillet), chawanmushi with lots of ingredients, and white rice were also delicious. I finished eating all the way to dessert and was full.Breakfast was a healthy menu that was good for the body.Free drinks are also available, which is a good deal. There weren't many guests, so the whole inn was welcoming just us! I was healed by such a luxurious feeling.

Visited during the first half of the May holidays. The facilities were old and I was concerned about some of the reviews from other people, but overall I was satisfied.Even though it was a holiday, there weren't many people using it, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath and meal.postscript)This is not a review of the inn, but I was surprised that Awara Onsen didn't have the atmosphere of other hot spring towns, and felt more like a normal urban area.
