The hotel is located next to Xichuan, and there are many plants around it to make people feel relaxed. It's about a 10-minute walk from the east exit of Okayama Station. On the 1st floor is Matsumoto Kiyoshi (there is a door for residents only) and on the other side is the post office.Across the road is the night food street. The walk along Momotaro Odori is quite flat, and it is easy to carry a 28-inch suitcase. It takes 22 minutes to walk to Okayama Castle/Korakuen Garden. There is a pleasant aroma as soon as you enter the hotel. There are many senior staff serving guests at the counter and restaurant (the company must have good benefits and stable staff, so the service will be high quality)A lot of Okayama-related local artworks are displayed inside, and the care is felt everywhere. Whether it is the color of the furniture or the copywriting, it makes people feel comfortable and cute, like the atmosphere of a resort hotel. After arriving at the hotel at noon, I deposited my luggage and was told that the luggage would be delivered directly to the room (this is a service only available in five-star hotels, it’s great value for money!)The room looks a bit dated, but the cleanliness and maintenance are very good. The air-conditioning vents and humidifier are also very clean. The shower curtain also has no smell at all and is quite clean. The toiletries are from POLA, and I really like the smell of the antibacterial aromatic spray. Maybe because there is a matching hot spring house, there is no bath powder to ask for (but Matsumoto Kiyoshi sells it downstairs)There is a set of supplies in the bathroom. When you use it, you can pick it up at the counter on the 1F.The room configuration is very reasonable, with small tables and chairs for eating and drinking. The pillows are one soft and one hard. It takes literally three seconds to fall asleep when you fold them up. The bed is on the middle-hard side and I personally found it very comfortable. I had a good sleep these three nights.I had buffet breakfast here for three days (the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor: European style Ryuranba)We use vegetables grown in our company and local specialties and ingredients from Okayama. Although there are not many dishes, everything is carefully prepared (especially the miso soup and shiitake mushrooms are delicious, there are two kinds of rice, white rice and five-grain rice, and the bread is of high quality)Desserts are also made specially by the chef. There is a caramel pudding after every meal to start a good day.The entire accommodation experience was very good, and the service staff were very professional. It is a hotel that I will recommend to my friends and family. What's a little bit wonderful is that the luggage scale provided by the hotel is the kind that weighs vegetables in the market. Suddenly the entire level is lowered. It is not very accurate and guests need to lift their luggage to use it... But in general, the flaws are not concealed.Accommodation date: 2024.10.03~06Accommodation room type: Twin Room

If you are looking for a hotel in Okayama city, I think this should be your first choice. It was my first time visiting Okayama, and I made the right choice in choosing the accommodation. It's close to the station so you can't get lost, the rooms are clean, and the view isn't bad. The breakfast was delicious and I was very satisfied.

The location is very good. The room wasn't as small as I expected, and the bed was comfortable. The bathtub is a little small, but you can soak in hot water. The table is wide, so it's easy to work. It's nice that there are 5 coin laundry machines and it's never crowded. There is also Matsukiyo on the first floor, which has drinks and food, so it can be used almost like a convenience store. There was a Lawson nearby, which was convenient.
