I was able to go on a family trip.My child will be a working adult and a university student next year, so I thought this trip might be the last time we would be able to spend time together.I chose a lodging where I could spend my last night relaxing, and it turned out to be a great decision.Not only was the location perfect, but the owner and his wife were kind, and you could feel their thoughtfulness everywhere you looked.I'm so happy to have found this place and stayed here!thank you very much!I want to come again in a different season!

This is such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds that nature provides. The host/owners (who live next door) show very kind hospitality, and the kura is beautifully renovated. It's a great place to stay when exploring the nearby caves (we visited 3) and/or Kinojo Castle ruins.

We've stayed in Airbnbs all over the country, but this one is just as nice as the photos, and might be one of our top choices. Above all, the owner and his wife were very kind and made our stay in Okayama a special trip! It is a wonderful place surrounded by nature, such as hiking to Kinojo Castle from Sunagawa Park and visiting caves such as Maki Cave. It was so good that I can't give it 5 stars!

I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and airbnb's over the years and Toshiyuki and Chie were by far the best hosts I've had. As accommodating as it gets and so friendly. Highly recommend this to anyone in the area.

Stayed here for one night. This is a really good lodging away from the bustle of the city. I would have loved to stay one more night but they were sold out for the day we wanted. Love the nature and the house. The host was very friendly and kind.

Stayed here in March 2023. Beautiful place and wonderful couple sharing a piece of old Japan, which has been tastefully and thoughtfully updated. Very serene, clean and calming and we were treated to fresh vegetables from the garden and home made chocolate pudding. A really nice stop and great contrast to the hustle and bustle of Japan’s big cities. Hope to visit again some day in the future.

I made a reservation through Airbnb.It was a very nice place and I could really feel the love between the couple. I also want to live like this in the future.
